Fox Outdoor Products Drop Leg First Responder System Pouch

Good Product - Lacking in Description
I could not find an adequate description. Even the Fox Tactical Website was vague. So here it is:• Main Compartment: 9 inches tall x 6 inches wide x 3 deep. 6 elastic loops suitable for large rolls of gauze etc. 4 small elastic loops suitable for pen light etc. 6 ½ x 4 inch Velcro patch on back inside. The Velcro patch accommodates a detachable 7 x 5 x 1 inch accessory pouch that would be good for quick clot pouches etc.• Front pouch: 6 x 5 x 1 inch. There are 3 horizontal strips of Velcro. The strips also serve as Molle attachments (6 sections).• Nifty “Fox Tactical” patch. Name Patch size.• Drop Leg attachment: It’s made to accommodate a regular pant belt or large 4-inch duty belt. As a result, its not very adjustable. On my pant belt it hung pretty low (I’m 6 foot 4 inches).• No belt loop on man strap. This was a deal breaker. I’ve been issued drop leg gear in the past and do not like it. I always run into stuff with it and I am in and out of a vehicle a lot. I was hoping to wear this as a belt pouch on my hip. So… this was deal breaker for me.• Zippers: The zippers on both pouches are the length of a full three sides. It folds completely open. This was another deal breaker for me. I cover some rough terrain and the likelihood of snagging zipper is high. I prefer a top only zipper so that if it does open, the gear will most likely stay inside. If used for its intended purpose, it’s a good think because it quickly gives you full access to your entire medical kit.In conclusion: this is designed to be a first responder bag. If you need a bag you can snag out of your car, slap on your duty belt, and run into a hostile situation, this bag will fill the bill. It is well built and well-priced. If you need a gear bag for tromping around the thick woods, crossing rivers, and climbing over deadfalls. You may want to keep looking. Overall, a good product. I would defiantly buy from Fox Tactical again.

Ripped the first day I used it
When the product arrived I was very thrilled it seemed that it had good quality. However once I use the product for one day it started to tear and rip I do not know if this was a manufacture defect or quality issue I returned the product. I don’t want to re-purchase it I don’t trust things that rip on the first day of use however this is my opinion and you must choose for yourself please see my pictures

Extremely bulky!
When I bought this I planned on having it for my EDC ( Every Day Carry). As soon as I started to pack a 5 C kit into it, I realized how bulky it was going to be! It needs a option to detach the leg strap and put on a sling to carry it like a messenger bag. I packed it full, but it doesn't go on my belt. I have it in my bushcraft/camping bag all ready so I can grab & go if needed. I won't be wearing it as my EDC. Very good quality for $15!

Nice pouch. Good size
Nice pouch. Good size, with a lot of storage space and useful interior components for a wide variety of applications. Doesn't wobble too much on the leg, depending on how you load it and where/how you apply it on your leg. Not at all disappointed in this product.

For the price, this is everything I was looking ...
For the price, this is everything I was looking for. The front outer velcro section is molle compatible. There is one small zippered section in the front, holds a few items, no elastic. The larger compartment has 6 (3 x 2) elastic loops on one side. On the other side is a removable pouch (velcro backing) and 2 elastic loops along the side where I have my scissors attached. The drop leg straps and clips are solid, well constructed, and adjustable. No complaints.

Watch the seams
I have two of these rigs. First one is holding up just fine under what I use it for as a Medic. The second rig failed on day 2. The leg strap simply pulled out of the seams from the rig itself, epic fail. StillUsing the rig though.

Durable and good fit
Have used this for close to a year. I use it as a kit for my personal protective equipment for medical emergencies. Holds everything I need. Very durable material and the zippers have worked without catching.

This item is way better than how the picture represents it
This item is WAY better than how the picture represents it. If you have done your research, you will see that the green one (identical to this one) has a smaller, zipper pouch attached to the main pouch. I was disappointed that this black one would not also have this additional pouch. I bought the black one because I needed it to match my uniform. Once I received it, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the black one does in fact have the extra small zip up pouch attached to the main one. I'm very happy with this item and I’m very happy with the quality of it. It Is very well made and is extremely durable. The zippers appear to be very rugged. Inside the main pouch also came another smaller pouch that slides in and out. Inside the pouch also has various elastic loops to secure your items. The pictures really do not do this product justice. It’s an amazing product that I highly recommend.
