Powzer Flash N Dash Ball

We started with the previous generation Powzer Flash N Dash Balls years ago, and they are great for night walks, as our (not especially quick) dog would frequently loose the ball when I (not especially good thrower) would chuck it-- the light in the old ones ( I bought many of them) didn't last very long, but worked well. This new version has the light up part as a floating element inside, so stronger dogs are probably less likely to be able to crack it open and get to it. I hope they make a yellow version again as they did with the old version because a lot of dogs are "red deficient" and can see the yellow one better than the red one in bright sunlight apparently.

Complete and total piece of junk, even for the low price. Purchased these to replace a similar item I had a few years ago... I remembered the name wrong apparently and these are not the same brand. I bought two and one's inner ball containing the LED busted on the first few light bounces on CARPET. The second is still working (we haven't used it much and have been VERY gentle when we have) but the outer ball's plastic is so weird, hard and slippery, my dogs lose interest and walk away as soon as they put their mouth to it. If they did apply any pressure to it, it appears it would shatter. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. SERIOUSLY.

I bought this on a friend's recommendation to keep our dog occupied after a move to a new city. The first ball I ordered did not flash at all but amazon was great and replaced it quickly. The second ball does work but it is very dim and my dog is not interested in playing with a hard plastic ball that doesn't appear to do anything. I think if it flashed brighter so he could see it clearly it might be more interesting to him.

We were looking for a softer plastic flashy ball for our dog and this one is a hard plastic so not as enjoyable for him. He is a 100+ pound goldendoodle and loves a something he can squish a little. There was no give in this ball. In addition, the flasher went out after about a week. Since it's a sealed ball I couldn't determine whether the unit failed or the battery died. Previous flashy balls from other makers lasted months.

Powzer Flash N Dash Ball is a great toy that my dog absolutely loves! It is small enough that he can get it into his mouth and chew on it, but large enough that he can't put enough pressure on it to break it or choke on it! He will play with these balls forever. They also seem to calm him down during a thunderstorm or fireworks. Not sure why, but it works.There are two drawbacks that I notice. The newer balls are made of a different type of plastic than the original Flash N Dash. They show teeth marks and scuffs much sooner than the original, softer rubber balls. So I'm not so sure how long these will last. AND of the three balls I ordered two are good the third one only flashes occassionally and for only 2-3 seconds. At least when you purchase from a retail store you can check out how well the ball works. I would return it and request another but it is too much of a hassle.Overall. Powrz Flash N Dash is a MUST for any dog that like to play with balls!

My Lhasa absolutely Loves these balls. He plays with them practically all day long. Sometimes... he has worked hard to get them open; but for him, that's part of the fun. For the most part he just enjoys these more than any other toy.

The product broke after the first use. There is a giant hole in the side. The light inside the ball will only come on with a great amount of force, and when it would start to blink, it would only blink for about 5 to 10 seconds. Not even long enough for my dog to find the ball. Would not recommend this product. For me it was money wasted.

I was looking to replace a favorite dog toy--a sturdy ball, not easily destroyed, that flashes. My Doberman loved it. Of course I was not able to find the exact same thing. I chose to try this product and hoped it would be similar. The only similarity is that it flashes. This ball is HARD. Does not bounce, can't be chewed, but it does flash. My Dobie will play with it, but doesn't like it. I kept this ball, and continued to look for another product that was more like her favorite.I will not buy another of this particular product.
