After a visit to the dermatologist, he suggested a 20% or 30% urea cream over the counter. I decided to try this 40% option. It goes on easily and runs in quickly. It has a slight clean fragrance. Not perfumey. When it dries down it left a white film on my feet. I couldn’t wear sandals so I only used it once a day at bedtime. It wasn’t the most pleasant feeling on your feet in bed. It felt matte and you could definitely feel it when your feet touched each other. But I managed I didn’t want to sleep w socks on. I could definitely feel and see a difference in my feet after the first night. My feet were softer and the tiny cracks on my heels and the scaly looking bits on my soles all looked improved. After a week my cracks aren’t as deep and my scaly appearance has improved. My dermatologist also suggested that using a pumice or anything abrasive was not recommended, he said the feet just try harder to build up a protective barrier the more you try to rub them away. He told me to stop those methods and stick to the cream.

This worked great but the smell was so strong I gave up on it after a month. It smells very intensely of tea tree oil. If you don't mind that smell, you'll probably be fine.

This is good stuff but you don't get much for your money. We use it on hubby's uber-dry feet and if makes a difference when used regularly.

This isn't thick and creamy and it doesn't smell very good. It goes on wet and gooey and dries with a film over your feet that feels kind of sticky and gross. HOWEVER. I used it for five days in a row (pulling socks on right after) and it got rid of every callus and piece of loose flaky skin on my feet, including eating away the dead parts of the cuticles so it looked like I had had an amazing pedicure without the price tag (and all the scraping and grinding). I will be adding this to my permanent foot care arsenal.

I have been using 40% Urea cream for some time as recommended by my dermatologist on my very rough feet. I jump around to whatever 40% cream is cheapest at the time and have very good luck with many brands purchased from Amazon. I will never again buy this brand. It is NOT a cream, but rather VERY watery. Does it still work...yes, but I feel like I have to be so careful to not turn the jar it as it will pour out. Every day when I open the jar it has dried around the rim and white chunk particles get all over floor, pants, wherever I am. The scariest thing about this product is on the back it says wash hands after use. After putting this cream on my feet after my morning shower, I have ALWAYS rubbed any remaining in on my hands. Why not? It is a cream for extra dry skin. Why is it that you should not put it on your hands makes me very curious.Anyway, I WILL NOT buy this watery liquid (not a cream) again because of the texture and the scary labeling on the back to wash your hands.

I tried this cracked heel cream because another 40% Urea product didn't work. Besides the effectiveness of this cream to heal my cracked skin, the cream remains creamy. The other product clumped into such a congealed mess it was impossible to apply. Since the other product didn't work anyway, it was an easy to toss. I'm so glad to have found this product instead. Warning: there is a scent with this cream but I'm okay with it. If you're really sensitive to smells, you might not like it. This cream works well to soften cracks on both my heels and fingers. I transfer some of the cream to a smaller container which is easier for me to work with, and then replenish from the container received from Amazon. When I transfer the last bit to the smaller container, I will definitely buy again. For the effectiveness and the price, worth the money and my application time, at least once a day, sometimes twice daily. Highly recommended.

Very pleased with this product after only a few days - and after a week a huge difference. I have rough, dry and cracked heals that are sometimes painful - this product softened them up and the cracks and dryness faded very quickly. There is no unpleasant scent, and easy to apply. Simply rub into heals and then wear socks to bed and over 3 days there was quite a noticeable improvement, after a week they were soft and smooth. After getting to the soft and smooth point only need to apply twice a week to maintain. Highly recommend.
