Almost perfect, but nothing is.
Does everything the seller claims. I use mine in the harsh outdoors of a delivery driver. Drop proof? Yes, it's hit the ground at 5mph when I dropped it out of the window. Waterproof? Yes, no amount of rain slowed it down. User friendly? If you're used to Android, you'll find this a sinch to use. Battery life? I use a driver app, that's power hunger, memory hungry, this mobile takes the operations in its stride, lasting a good 6 hrs before the low batt warning comes on. Using just regular apps, it lasts all day. It's weighty but comfortable, what you want from a rugged design. Several weeks into a hard working life, it's not missed a beat. Why didn't I say it's perfect, the call volume is slightly muffled, but the speaker is waterproof too. I hook mine up via bluetooth to the van radio, so no problem during work. I use this mobile purely for work and it out performs my Sony Xpira, which I used prior to this. It arrived in an excellent box, well packaged and quickly.

Problem with headphone jack
Needed a splashproof mobile for use with outside broadcast set up of a Community Radio station which required connexions to the 3.5 mm jack. The jack had an intermittent contact and does not appear to provide an access to be able to use an external microphone / ear phone unit. certainly not clear on the information. Not clear whether it was a faulty item or just the way it was . The "manual" is very basic and you have to work out what is where as not used an Android phone previously it takes time. Disapointing as it looked to have great potential but have returned as not meeting our needs.

Without a tiny metal pin you have dodgee phone.
However rugged this is without a Sim tray pin to open it this is a useless piece of metal that google started downloading to without any sim activation.There was no pin to open the Sim Tray in the box, so any suggestions how to open the tray and insert a sim?
