great timeline development
Sometimes I Lie” is a cleverly crafted psychological thriller with some truly unexpected twists. The shifting between three different timelines adds a dynamic layer to the story, keeping you engaged as the pieces gradually fall into place. The backstory is woven seamlessly, helping to clarify the mystery in a satisfying way by the end. While it wasn’t one of those books that I absolutely couldn’t put down, I still found myself drawn in and thoroughly enjoyed the reading experience. It’s definitely worth the read for fans of twisty thrillers!

Honest Review
For the most part, the book was interesting but it did feel like it was a little all over the place. I started it which is why I wanted to finish it but it felt like a huge build up to then an ending that I didn’t enjoy much

It took a while, but I enjoyed it
Super slow! The plot took a minute! There was just so much back story and detail and because one of the points of view was from someone in a coma it just felt very slow. I will admit I almost gave up on reading it! But kept trucking along cause I heard it was good. So once it got moving it was really good and then I was thankful for all the slow chapters of details.

twisted
So twisted and sometimes confusing. The inner workings of a deranged mind can be confusing and unsettling. I need to spend some time pondering through the nuances of this book.

A Little Slow Before It Gets Going
I have to admit that, even though the last half of the book had me absolutely hooked, the first part dragged a bit. It’s a good thriller overall and keeps you guessing a little ways in before you finally get to the end. There are a lot of twists to this one and none of them were bad. Overall I enjoyed it and it’s worth the read if you like a good psychological thriller.

I'm so confused.
I'm not really sure how to feel about this one. It was ok, then really good, and then ended like wtf?? I really don't think I know what the hell happened. Maybe just one too many twists. The last chapter took away one more star because I'm left with more questions than answers and I don't like that at all.

intriguing. Story with many layers.
“People think that good and bad are opposites but they're wrong, they're just mirror images of one another in broken glass.”The writing is brilliant. The details are necessary for the unpredictable events, twists and turns while slowly peeling theonion and getting to the core. As I was reading I kept wondering what was real and what was not. After the ending it didn’t really matter after all, at least not to me.

Master of misdirection
Very cleverly written, engaging and just as far-fetched as possible to believe. Looking forward to the next book by this author.
