Xinksd Universal Tripod Mount Adapter for Smart Phones 2.3-3.3" Wide, Holder Clip Attachment Clamp

For anyone who hasn't bought this yet I can tell you it will easily fit a iPhone 6s Plus WITHOUT A CASE . BUT IF YOU HAVE A CASE.....I have the Thule atomos x3 case which makes my iPhone literally the exact max stretch rate for the device. I assumed that it would probably stretch a little farther and fit anyway but that wasn't the case. It's basically impossible to get it in because it will only stretch to that point. Luckily I had other phone tripod mounts laying around that actually fit my phone so I had an idea.I took the spring out of this mount to realize this product CAN GO FARTHER THAN 3.3in. But only if you put better springs in that can stretch farther. A different mount I had which by the way is one of those generic ones had better springs, so I switched the springs and the mount fit way better and it was a lot easier to put my iPhone in it. Now let me tell you I got lucky, I was planning to come on here and write a review telling people about my issue but having fixed the problem there was no need. And you really can't tell what the springs are until you open it so if you have a phone that's a little bigger or have a thicker case I reccommmed buying this and finding a hardware store or something like that that sells springs.

I would Love to give the product five stars just based on quality of the clip, but I’m absolutely infuriated at how poorly designed it is when it comes to accommodating phones with cases.Simply put, it doesn’t. My phone case is very thin and minimal and I have to force my phone to fit. And it bends my Loopy iPhone 6S case trying to hold it. It just doesn’t work, and it’s stupid because almost everybody uses a phone case, and mine is thinner than most. The clip stupidly is designed only to hold naked phones, and with each transfer I risk Dropping my naked phone and breaking it every time I wanna use the clip. It would have been VERY easy to design the arms of clip to be wider and tapered so that any phone and case would fit and sit tightly in the clip. Every other phone holder ive used and purchased works for this, why not this one.It’s actually even more maddening that the clip is otherwise strong and capable. There’s a great spring action to the clip and the arms and base are quite sturdy. It’s just too bad that I won’t be using the case because of the limitations of the clip.

This little doodad is just what I needed. I'm a photographer, so I have a pretty varied collection of tripods already, I really didn't want to buy a whole new specific one to use with my phone. I prefer to use my phone for product reviews and since I want to start shooting more videos of actual unboxings, this will help me because I won't have to awkwardly hold the phone at the same time.So the great thing about this mount is that you can put it on any standard tripod, from the versatile spider legs that you can wrap around poles or use right on your desk, to my fluid-head monstrosities that look like they belong in a television studio.This mount gives me the versatility to use any tripod I own. Not bad for a $6.99 investment.The quality of the construction is top-notch. It feels well-made and the spring-loaded design is timeless. It easily accommodated my iPhone 6S Plus and holds it firmly in place. Once in, my phone didn't budge. I've very pleased with this purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Classic design, solid construction and ease of use make this a no-brainer purchase.

I love how easily this has fit onto every phone I have put in it. Tonight as I went to remove it from my desk mount that is apart of the tension side that clamps the phone snapped off as I pulled the phone out. my current phone is a Samsung Galaxy S 9+. I have an otter box case on it and have been almost daily driving this mount and phone combo for over a year. I wish this was still available for purchase because I would pick up a few of them. love the design. It worked great.

Fits my Moto X Pure perfectly! High Quality and well made, holes on both sides work great for different angles/positions.The only reason I left a star off is that it's insanely tight gripped. I need my wife to help me pull one side or I'll drop the phone from clawing the thing open. Pro: never have to worry about it falling off. Con: Insanely hard to clip on/off with the spring. It might just take a few weeks/months of use to wear the spring down to the point of breaking it in a bit.Anyways, highly recommend!

The device does what I want. It allows a call phone to attach to a GoPro style mount. The camera is held in place with a spring loaded grip, just like a car phone holder. Unlike a car holder, on a mountain bike the phone can bounce out. My solution is an elastic to hold it in place, and given the nature of what the phone is likely gong to be mounted on it should come with something like that.

So I purchased the wrong product and didn't realize it until I was packing big for a trip and took it out of the package. I meant to buy the amount for the GoPro. That being said this mount wo is well with the tripod. I have an iPhone 6 and it fit easily without having to take the case off. Not sure when I will have a need for this but it is a great product for the price.

Good product. Good price. I have been using this for about a month to take photos with my iPhone 5. I am able to slip the phone into the adapter and it holds securely. I just screw it into the tripod mount that came with my existing tripod and everything works well together. By the way, my tripod is about 10 years old, so I was very please that it was compatible. I have no problems with it gripping my phone. However, my phone it in a Speck Candy Shell case, but I think it would hold nicely even if you did not have the phone in a case.

Good quality mount but as i didnt see this product does not include a tripod, so i think this is overpriced for what it is
