NECA E.T. 30th Anniversary Action Figure ET Galactic Friend

This is a great action figure, but it is nowhere near as tall as I thought it would be so I gave it four stars. It is around 3-4 inches tall. The dimensions are listed as 11.5 inches tall. It is still very cool, but know that the dimensions listed are wrong. The box may have been that tall, but this E.T. is a little guy.

NECA did an incredible job with this figure. The detailing is extremely realistic. If you rub your finger along the body, it feels like rough, wrinkled skin. NECA also managed to get quite a bit of articulation, including wrist, leg, elbow, shoulder, and two neck joints (one at the base and one near the head). E.T. is around 6-7 inches tall, but he's a pretty bulky figure and looks quite large.The "Galactic Friend" figure comes with a wraparound towel. The towel is moulded, not cloth, so you can really only dress E.T. up in it one way. However, it looks great on him. It can be removed to get a "naked" version of E.T. One warning with the towel is that at a few points some of the white paint rubbed onto the figure. I was initially pretty upset, but I noticed that just rubbing those spots with a wet cloth completely removed the white paint and solved the problem.This figure also comes with a neck extension so you can make the neck longer. It looks great, although admittedly is a bit tough to get on. You have to position the "ball" in the ball socket straight so you can push it in. My advice is to just switch to the longer neck and leave it.My only complaint is that the small Reese's Pieces accessory doesn't have a label, it's just an orange bag of candy (the trademark was probably left off for legal reasons). Still, that's a pretty small complaint.It took 30 years, but finally we have an E.T. figure worth of the film! Well worth the price!

The ET was a little disappointing. He is small, with paint on him from his towel. The candy bag is very generic, I wouldn't recommend this for a kid. ET isn't very "pretend play" friendly. He would be great for a collector who just wanted him to display.

This Neca E.T. figure is truly amazing! I dont have enough good things to say about it. I was a kid when E.T. was re-released in theatres for the 20th Anniversary. Back then, I thought thoses toys were awesome, and they are, but it is amazing to see what 10 years can do to the toy industry. This toy is mostly for adult collectors and would be most appriciated by them too. It's absoulutly fantastic. The pictures online, even in the finest resolution do not do this figure justice. the detail on this figure truly makes this figure a piece of art. So much realism. A must buy for the movie fans who are still kids at heart.The only dissapointing thing was that right when i took the figure out of the package, and moved the articulated arms, the left arm snapped at the elbow. The seller was very professional and sent me a new one! very happy with my purphase! GREAT WORK NECA!

My daughter loved ET when the movie was first released in the late 70s or very early 80s, whichever. She cried every time she saw it because she thought ET died when he ended up in the river in the middle of the film. I'm sure everyone remembers that scene. Now her son, my grandson Harry, loves ET. He also cries at that same scene that his mother did. I'm glad that there are still action figures of ET for Harry. This one is small and not a stuffed toy like the one my son and daughter had as children, but Harry was thrilled with it on Christmas morning. For those interest in buying an ET figure it is well-made, and the seller was very reliable.

I am delighted to have ET back in my hands again after all these years. My original was allowed a little too much autonomy and he went to the mother ship (or was taken by another lover).While I have not taken him from his box, He comes as promised with Skittles and a white robe. He looks very true to the original one I had. He will stay boxed until I am sure that the mother ship is no where in the galaxy as I am quite fond of him and would hate to lose my fond little fellow again.

Product dimensions are of the PACKAGING!!!! How stupid is that? ET is 5" tall, not 11".I would like my $ back!

This is one of Neca's finest. The sculpt and likeness of this belove character are perfect. Once again, Neca proves they are the best in the business. I love this E.T. figure, and look forward to the next wave.

Neca are always great for a decent sculpt but this time they've outdone themselves. E.T. is just great. This is the most accurate sculpt for E.T. i've seen from any company. Must admit i've not opened his packaging, so can't comment on his durability. I'm sure any kid (or adult!) that loves this movie will appreciate this figure. I bought the 'dress up' version too and they both have different facial expressions, which is a nice touch. There hasn't ever been a truly great E.T. likeness until now. So like E.T.? buy this!

my granddaughter loved it as she had just seen a tv re-run of the film and liked E.T. a lot. her eyes lit up when she unwrapped it at christmas.

this is a very small item, the neck does not work, nobody could replace the neck, plastic to hard. expected better quality for this price.

La figurine réalise les attentes qu'on peut placer en elle. Le matériau est d'assez bonne qualité et plutôt résistant. Le changement de tête n'est pas aisé et le drap autour de ET de qualité moyenne. Nous sommes plutôt satisfaits
