DEHCOColorimetrics White Putty Tape/Butyl Tape 1/8" x 1" x 30' (4-Pack)

I bought a bus to convert to an RV. It didn't take long to realize that every window leaked, so I pulled each one and found that the gaskets had turned to goo. I cleaned them up and placed butyl tape where the gaskets had been (It worked best to put the of the butyl tape on the edge of the window - not enough to stick out, but enough to block the water). I screwed the windows back in and caulked. No more leaks!!

I bought 4 rolls. Of that 4 rolls, less than 2 rolls was usable. The product is sticky like other butyl tape. Maybe a bit too sticky. The paper that is supposed to keep it separated will not release. I could not get the paper off the tape without tearing up the work I had accomplished. The grey butyl tape works much better. I'm back to using the grey tape. Frustrated and not worth the time or money.

This stuff was smashed flat on one side, all four rolls. It had a real problem sticking to the aluminum, then the icing on the cake, the paper won't peel off. This tape is pure garbage! This is the first time I have ever had any problem with Butyl tape, and it had multiple problems.

Too thin for corogated rv sides .Stuck to the paper roll which made it even thinner at times .

this was a pk of four, they were layered on top of each other with nothing in between them. They all stuck together and pulling them apart made it impossible to remove the paper more than 6" at a time before it ripped. I spent more than twice the time it would have taken me to use this crap!!!!

I can;t get the backing to peel off. I even tried to flash freeze it. Useless!!!

Exactly what I needed to seal the windows on my 1972 Shasta camper. As others have said, the width and thickness vary slightly but it's really not an issue. We're not building watches here people. Just double it up and you'll never have to worry about it again.

I had bought this a few months ago to seal vapor barrier plastic to concrete. No matter how well the concrete was cleaned, it did not stick. And on top of that when I contacted them about a return, I was told I was past the return period. So now I am stuck with four rolls of useless tape.
