Good as a wipe or a cloth
These are the cloths! They absorb a great deal and leave minimal cotton residue, decreasing to zero over time and washing. Essential kitchen tools and high quality. Great to pair with other MUKitchen dish cloths to use on other delicate dishes and glassware. These bar mops can be used on counters, but also on plates, pots, and pans (if clean, remember to decide if it will be a wipe or a cloth!).

Bog standard, buy if you want I guess
I'm not too sure what to say about this. There's just....not much to them. I don't particularly see anything special about these. They work, just like any other dishcloth. So any purchasing decision should be on if you like the pattern or not, I guess.

Hard to believe it's cotton
The label says these are 100% cotton. But if you try to mop water off a counter with one of these cloths, the cloth just smears the water around and does not pick much of it up. I would have guessed that these cloths are at least 50% polyester. There's no comparison between these and the real cotton towels I have.I've laundered them numerous times -- without softener or any other laundry aid except Tide detergent -- in hopes of removing any sizing that might interfere with absorption. That did not solve the problem.I believe they are mis-labeled.
