can it be used for automotive paint

The only reason you should not be able to use this for automotive paint is the needle bearing which is a seal on the inside of the airbrush. Any airbrush will spray automotive paint. When using solvent based paint, it swells up the needle bearing. If using water based paint it shouldn't affect it. A good solvent based paint airbrush would use a Teflon needle bearing.

does it come with a case to store it?

No, it does not come with a storage case. I keep mine in the original shipping box it came in.

Has anyone's airbrush machine stop spraying before and if so what happened to it did you get it to work again
