Helped my diseased plants.
As far as I'm concerned, this product is a miracle. I've been plagued this year with a mysterious fungus, or some kind of disease, that has wiped out several of the established plants in the shady side of my garden. All the plants were 20+ years old. This included two camellias and my 15 foot high bougainvillea, trained on a single stem that covered the entire corner like a big red tree. I watched the roots rot away. Then the 5 white oleanders trained on a single stem started showing suspicious signs at the roots (not oleander wilt). I've sprayed once so far, and seen improvement in the remaining plants. The crape myrtle with powdery mildew has improved. The citrus that were doing poorly are looking better. I sprayed with a hose- end dial sprayer at 1 oz. per gallon (there are so many instructions I just kind of guessed). Read the scientific stuff about agri-fos on line. There's a lot of good things to recommend it for plants and for the environmental aspect. I'm just an everyday, back yard gardener who didn't want to lose more plants. It is two weeks now, and I am ready to spray again. I ordered two more 32 oz bottles which will give me enough for the rose garden this time. I can't wait to see the results there. I haven't used the Pentra Bark yet, but when it arrives I will try it on the trunks of the oleanders. Wish me luck.

Seems to do the job. Manufacturer very poor about responding to inquiries.
So far it it seems to work. I get a little technical with details, and when the label didn't answer all my questions I tried to contact the manufacturer. I started with a U.S. distributor, who said this was developed by an Australian company. I tried to contact them, several times over a period of weeks. The email I was given works, but they have never responded to my inquiries. THAT is very frustrating. The product itself mixes easily with water and application to soil or foliar spray is easy. The frequency of application required to control some diseases is frustrating, but I will accept that for safety of environment and animals. I do not have the equipment necessary to test how long it takes the chemical to reach the leaves/roots, or the 1/2 life once there; nor can I verify whether the chemical is actually preventing the spread of the disease --- some things you take on trust. I know a member of the county extension office felt it was a good product for my application, and the disease I was concerned about has not spread.

This stuff works
Last year I had a problem with my Bradford pear trees loosing way too many leaves during the heat of the summer. This year, we had an unusual amount of wet weather, which is the perfect breeding ground for fungus. I bought this product to prevent the leaves from developing fungus & dropping. It is a systemic, which is much better than just an application on the leaves. It has really worked. Very pleased.

I am writing this review, having bought, but ...
I am writing this review, having bought, but not having used this product. Problem with these agricultural chemicals, as with the medicines taken by humans is, to not know the exact dosage and the frequency of application. Agir-Fos comes with a tiny booklet of elaborate instructions, yet hard to decode the exact prescription for a given plant and situation. I purchased this to treat (possibly) a root rot condition of my Hybiscuses in the Phoenix area. But the instructions make no mention of Hibiscus.I would caution here on the references to "justanswer.com". In all likelihood these references to a "tree doctor" on "justanswer.com" are coming from people serving as "experts" on justanswer.com. Tempted to find a reasonable advice on my situation, I logged in a question at justanswer.com. The person who took my question ended up concluding that I only have 10% chance to recovering my plants, and made absolutely no mention of AGRI-FOS. The "small fee" of the "tree doctor" is $48.00, which why there is no mention of how "small" the fee is when they advertise subtly in amazon.com reviews. I developed a habit of trusting amazon.com reviews over time & have rarely ever been proven wrong. But this happens to be one such contrary occasion. Also, beware: when you go to justanswer.com, they give you no option to withdraw/cancel your question & demand an advance payment for the "small fee".This review is not a reflection on AGRI_FOS itself (saving the issue clarity of instructions), but the possibility that amazon.com reviews can be fake at times. The same thing is happening on a number of free well trusted online forums, through subversion by disguised commercial interests.

Agri-Fos antifungal use results
I bought this product based on the expert opinion of a Purdue University honors graduate. This man has a degree in tree diseases and their cures. I have a tree in my yard in Florida that kept shedding leaves, was losing some limbs, and the bark was shedding in different places. I first had to treat the tree for carpenter ants which were caused by the fungus getting into the root system and causing the roots to rot. I then used the Agri-Fos to get rid of the fungus. I have treated the tree twice and so far I am happy with the results. The tree looks much healthier and the foilage on it has really increased. I believe I am going to use this same product for two oak trees that I have that appear to have a similar problem. This product can be used on many trees and plants according to the directions. Note the tree expert I used is available through the internet at a sight called "justanswer.com"

Effective against pythium on young grass seedlings
When temps skyrocketed into the high nineties, our healthy grass seedlings were ravaged by disease. It looked to be pythium blight.Temps dropped, and we were much more careful about watering, so it slowed the spread. I sprayed it with Agri-fos. It seems to have knocked out the pythiuim. I had called Monterey for advice. They were very helpful. He recommended 7.5 oz in 2 gallons of water to cover 1,000 square feet, then to spray again a few weeks later using 5 oz in 2 gallons of water. I'm so glad to have found this! I'll definitely keep it on hand!
