Puritan's PrideProbiotic Acidophilus with Pectin, 100 Count, White (P-2)

Recently, I was hospitalized and had to go on some pretty powerful antibiotics...the aftereffects were horrific and I suffered with stomach pain like you wouldn't believe. I took everything I could think of...and then remembered that probiotics can help...after taking them, I've finally recovered fully, and to tell you the truth, they saved my sanity as well. Because of my medical condition, I face taking antibiotics with each "flare up" and so I will NEVER be without this product again; in fact, I now take these daily to keep my system in good condition...they are "rapid release...another plus. I am deeply grateful for this product.

This product is great for me and really helps to keep my stomach calm and the price is so much better than what I can get at the grocery store or big box chain stores.

Just thought the price was somewhat high.

One of the only probiotic I feel actually works for lactose intolerance. One pill a day keeps the issues to a dull roar.

I have unfortunately been dealing with some severe GI issues. Over the summer I contracted C-Diff and it's been downhill ever since. My physicians strongly recommend I take probiotics as a prophylactic daily. I've tried a number of them including the more expensive name-brands such as Align and Florastor. None of them seemed to make a difference in my GI upset. Although I don't think this is a "miracle pill" it really has improved my quality of life as far as stomach upset. This just goes to show the more expensive a product does not a better product make. I would definitely repurchase this for the price I paid as a daily supplement.

Following the removal of 1/3 of my colon I suffered from incontinence for years. I began taking Lactobacillus Acidophilus and within a week or two I enjoyed an enormous improvement. This brand is fine, other generics widely available.
