Great little pocket light, for most any practical application.I've had my oldest one (I've got a few of them) approx. 4 years now, with constant use, (camping/late night dog walking/vehicle repairs) and no failures to date.Even works great on home defense long guns!(Surprisingly, the recoil of my shotgun hasn't hurt it at all, after 2+ years of both heavy training, and sitting standby.)For those doing service type duties, you might want a bit more for battery life,But around most household duties, this works magnificent.

The 900 lumens seems very accurate. This is a powerful little light.I got it to use as an every day carry light. It is much smaller and more comfortable to carry than a 18650 battery powered light.I like the dual switches. They work very well.The red light is great for night vision. I do a lot of astronomy and the red light is just right for that.I haven't had the light long, but its great so far.

This light is a little too big for every-day carry (EDC), but when you need a really bright light (for a little while), it's there. There are, of course, a number of lower-light, longer-run-time modes. For me, the red light options make it perfect for boating at night.The cons are that this is an older light that takes a less common battery for best performance (an 18350 Li-on). There are very likely newer models of lights that supersede this one, but it works well for me.

Excellent light and packed with features I have not seen on other lights. even has a built in volt meter that tells you exact voltage by blinking! I am a Surefire fanboy and plenty of Surefire but do appreciate low cost innovative chinese made flashlights.

I've come to expect Nitecore products to be well-made, have a good feature set and work well. The MT-10C meets all of those criteria.The brightness levels, SOS and red-light functionality are easy to access.The included belt pouch is excellent and a great way to carry the light versus rummaging around in a pocket, and the lanyard is useful as well.The only downside is the runtime on the rechargeable 123 batteries is a lot less than with the larger flashlights that use 18650 or 21700 batteries, but that's the trade-off for having a much smaller form factor that's easier to carry.Quality light, great feature set & performance, would buy again (and I did - actually bought a 2nd one).
