Curious Chef TCC50038 6-Piece Measuring Cup Set - Pack of 2

I bought these as a gift and ending up getting another set instead. I don't like the way the handle is attached to the cup. It would make much more sense to be on the short side of the cup, rather than the long side. I have another oval measuring set that is attached to the short side and I love them. They fit into bags/containers so much better than round cups. The way the handles are positioned on these, I think, would make it much more difficult to use. It's my fault for not looking at the listing more closely and perhaps it's made that way because it is actually for kids. Additionally, they seem to be pretty flimsy and cheap.

I know these are angled toward children, but do you know how hard it is to find a 3/4 cup measuring cup? The breakdown of every measurement, outside of the normal 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, and 1, is not necessarily a NEED but is so extremely helpful to have on hand in the kitchen. Plus, these clean very easily and store nice and neatly in my drawer. Great product!

Curious Chef measuring cups and spoons will work well to measure ingredients. However, they are oval in shape. They are not the standard shape for measuring cups and spoons. As an early childhood teacher, I know the measuring cups and spoons on early childhood tests are shown as the standard round shape.

I purchased these cups specifically because they were white (to match the rest of my kitchen paraphernalia) and because it has the intermediate measurements (3/4 cup!).I am very pleased with them, particularly since the measurements are not printed on the handle. They are raised in white the middle of the colored circle on each handle. My previous set, besides for not having the intermediate measurements, had the measurements printed on the handles and they rubbed out over time.The only thing I don't love about them is the shape. They're oblong which makes them wider and difficult to fit into some containers.I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who does a lot of cooking/baking and wants the convenience that these offer.

I needed to replace some plastic measuring cups and wanted something similar. These are nice and rigid, have the nobby grips, and the size is sort of embossed instead of painted. The oblong shape can cause a little awkwardness when measuring out of a container but not a big deal. I like the 3/4 cup size and they nest well.

I like the big letters and easy to read colored markings on the handles of the measuring cups. I keep them hanging from the hood over my stove. Very handy right by the counter where I use them.

Great value for the price. A little flimsy but you shouldn’t need them to be any sturdier than they are. They stack nicely and have a ring to keep them all together.

These are perfect! I think they are well made (much sturdier than the red Betty Crocker ones that I had before) and I love the oval shape. The silicone bumps are great for if your hands are slippery, and the measurements are easy to read and don't look like the "writing" will come off unless you're REALLY trying to get it off... like, by scraping it off.The oval shape and shallow bowls of the smaller cups are perfect for getting into and scooping out of containers - an issue I've always had with round cups. The width makes them feel sturdier, in my opinion.I bought these mainly because of the fun colors (goes with my kitchen), but I can see how my own little helper will like these and will find them easy to use. The only thing I wish it would have come with (seeing as it's a set for kids) would be a leveler. Not a deal breaker, but would have been a nice touch. The set is well worth the seven dollars as it is. I'll definitely be buying more from Curious Chef line.
