First Impressions -> See update at bottom
I just got this longboard in the mail today. I am not a skater, nor have I skated much in the past. I did a little skating many many years ago as a young lad. I'm 37 years old and I was honestly, and still am, worried about hurting myself. I for some reason found myself watching Braille Skating videos on YouTube, and that is what led me to purchasing this board. I took this longboard out for a ride as soon as I received it, and I'm pleasantly surprised that I didn't instantly bust my butt. I was actually able to push down the sidewalk and have fun moving along, while staying balanced on the board. For the quality of the longboard, I'm no expert but it seems to be good enough for someone like myself who just wanted to see if this sport is something that I would like. The board, trucks, wheels, bearing, grip tape all look in order and I don't see anything that looks out of order. If anything changes I will update. I'm sure I will have fun with this entry level board, and if I end up really liking it I'll buy a better quality board sometime in the future.UPDATE:Well its been about two days since I wrote my original review and after spending some time with the longboard I feel like I can give a more accurate review. The only problem I have is that the stock wheels and bearing are very slow. I backed off the axle nuts on all four wheels which did help allot. This freed up the wheels and allows them to actually free spin for more than 2 or 3 seconds, but the board is still extremely slow with the stock wheels and bearings. I will most likely upgrade the bearings and wheels. The board itself seems very sturdy so I think it will be fine with some better wheels and bearings. I still like the longboard and I think it is a great buy for $60, but I don't love the board so I'll give it 4 stars.

This board stacks up against the competition
Sweet board and great colors. The board is set up for immediate use. I have added new bearings and wheels to give it that needed punch for me.Right out of the package, it is very durable and great for beginners. The board can be easily transformed for novice to experienced rider with about another $50 making this a very good buy! It can easily be upgraded as the rider gains experience or as the board you keep to chill with. The original bearings restricted some speed and the wheels gripped too much for my liking. After changes: new Reds bearings allowed for upgraded speed and new shark wheels added the ability to slide a bit more. To each his own, but I like this board, the price point is awesome and I am 6' 1" and 217 pounds....the board has great flex with just enough give, but it doesn't seem cheap or flimsy. I own $200 + boards and this stacks up very nicely.

) he didn't like that very much
My son wanted a long board for Christmas. We bought him one from a local store. It lasted a few weeks and then only 3 tires were touching the ground. So we took it back and traded it for one he wanted. He used that one for a few months and then told us that it only turned left. Weird how each board is different. I told him then he can only turn left. :) he didn't like that very much. He said the only way to fix the wheels was to replace them, well wheels are the same price, if not more than just getting a new board. So with his birthday money he found and bought this one from Amazon. So far so good in the riding and turning department. If anything changes, I will definitely post again. As far as the look, it looks pretty much just like the picture. My son was very excited about it.

The Bomb Board Complete is ... (the bomb?) - d'oh, I'm so old...
Bought this for my son as his first longboard. He's been interested in long boarding since his brother received a "pro model" some years back, but my youngest doesn't skate as much as his brother, so my wife and I figured "why not?" This board has got to be one of the best, entry-level drop-down/ drop-thru truck mounted longboard I've seen. The reverse king-pin trucks are mediocre but for his 80 lbs frame, they're perfect (and I have a spare set of Randals he can use when he needs them). The board arrives with the wheels locked down pretty tight. I don't know if this is a strategic decision to keep new skaters from falling as the board shoots out from beneath them, or what. My son has plenty of experience skating so we just loosened the axle nuts a bit (I like my wheels to have a bit of side-to-side breathing room too) and he was off like a shot, cruising the neighborhood. We may buy new bushings since the bushings that came with this were kind of stiff and the trucks were cranked down pretty good; that said, I loosened the trucks so they turned under his weight and he's doing okay for now - we'll see how they perform when temps are warmer. They are 1000% better than what come on the competition's equipment. No need to drop $250+ on a longboard set-up just because it's a "pro" setup or was on display at the local mall life-style shop. This set-up is great and the bomb theme with red, white, and blue makes me think of my own childhood days chasing the ice-cream man's truck and buying a red, white, and blue bomb pop.

Great buy!!
With there being no reviews on this board, i was hesitant to buy, but honestly it is a wonderful board. Wheels are gripy, bearings are wonderful and smooth. If you're looking for a really nice inexpensive board. Them this one is perfect!!!

Nice board just not a nice fit for me
I love this board but it's just way too big for me. Holding it is just annoying. I'm used to regular boards so this was nice because you don't have to direct it much but if you want to take it with you anywhere and need to hold it you're going to feel like it's a burden and want your small board big time. it looks pretty slick though. Something more for a taller person who has decent upper body strength and def not for anyone with back issues.

Easy to ride, not too heavy
I bought this to ride up and down the beach. I once owned a regular skateboard but never got good at it -- couldn't even comfortably turn left :/This is super easy to ride, not too heavy, which is exactly what I was looking for. Plus the colors let you rep the USA or maybe France if you prefer, so it is versatile like that.
