Sea Best, Breaded Butterfly Shrimp, 24 Ounce

The shrimp are breaded but they need to be fried in oil to get them crispy and browned.Pan fry or deep fry are the options listed on the package for cooking.No baking method listed.I don't think these would work well for oven cooking.Made these for lunch today and I counted 40 shrimp in the package.These aren't really big shrimp but for the price range they are quiet good.They aren't tiny and they look good on the plate and we liked the taste.Only ate them dipped with cocktail sauce but they were very good.

don't be afraid your shrimp are going to defrosted by the the time they get to your place, because the shrimp come in a insulated box with dry-ice and rock hard from deep freeze state. They taste amazing one try your going to wish, yes for more!. Thank you to the people that made this product possible. have a happy shrimp experience!.

Don't frigging tell me for two weeks that it shipped or will be delivered today and all you actually did was create a shipping label,,, so don't create a damn shipping label until you have the product in hand to ship,,, I've ordered dozens of boxes of shrimp and you screw me on delivery dates 3 out of 4 times on delivery date,,, this is a perishable product so you waste my time waiting for something to be delivered that hasn't even left your dock,,, so get your act together or lose this customer,,, this is not the shippers fault because they never received the parcel,,,First order of three 24 oz took 11 days,,,9 days to ship,,, 2nd order took just 2 days from ordering to home,,, i just put in 2 more orders of 4 24 oz and 2 24 oz boxes,,, these are not restaurant quality but great for home and get togethers,,,i eat a ton of shrimp as you can see. Just me in my household,, I'll order another 15 boxes next month and every month at this price,,, i eat half a box for lunch and half a box for supper with 50% cocktail sauce and 50% ketchup mixture,,, i deep fry them in a fry daddy cooker for steady even heat and cook for about 5 to 6 minutes because I'm a man and overload the fryer,,, yeah yeah,,, i don't ask for directions either,,, Lol,,, anyway they come out out perfect and crunchy with good texture on the shrimp,, i would classify these as seconds meaning they are not all uniform in size,,, i just finished my 2nd box today and have not found any tiny bits,, just a handful that I could tell were a bit smaller,,,my only complaint is that they are in one bag like French fries,,, i wish they were in trays or two separate bags,,Btw these are more like 30 to 35 count actual shrimp size

These are the best I have ever purchased. So easy to prepare and so many in the box. I cooked them in butter with a little oil. The breading comes out crispy and the flavor is very good. Great for a quick lunch.

Great flavor didn't plan on either having to eat them all or throw away

The product is fine. The problem is the dry ice had melted when delivered and the product was not frozen. The delivery system takes too long between adding the dry ice and delivery to me. This needs to be corrected.Del Odle

first off, I was very disappointed how small the shrimp are. "21/25" apparently refers to the size/weight count of the shrimp AFTER breading, and not the shrimp themselves (which are ridiculously tiny, no bigger than 51/60 or maybe 41/50 if you are being kind or hopeful)so next, obviously, that means there is a ton of breading. which makes it difficult to get the shrimp inside cooked, the middle breading not-soggy, and the outside not-burned, all at the same time. and even when cooked close to properly, the breading still was not that appetizing.but the worst had to be the flavor of the shrimp itself - they are peeled and deveined, but somehow every single shrimp, tasted overpoweringly of "vein". just unpleasant.will never buy again. the same company's 2# frozen 41/50 peel and eat, though, is more than good, it's great. get that instead.

I cannot say enough good things about Sea Best’s products, so far. It comes In great packaging and very quickly. The price, considering all this is very reasonable.They taste fresh. The shrimp are good sized and I am thrilled with this purchase.
