Legrand Radiant Horizontal stair light
This was a quick, easy and inexpensive upgrade to the almost useless stair lights that came in my house. They look great and work great. When installing the louver attachment may bind with the cover plate. Mine took a little finesse, basically loosening the cover plates to get them all working properly.

A Great Way to Upgrade Your Home's Safety and Aesthetic
For years I had battery operated lights on my upstairs landing. They didn't last very long and I often put off replacing them but finally I decided to do something about it. I considered 12 volt LEDs with colors and smart systems, which are all very cool but not exactly what I was looking for. These lights sealed the deal. They wire up like any other 120 V receptacle, so no need for power converters or LED drivers. If you are comfortable adding receptacles and fishing wire through walls, then you have an incredible amount of flexibility on how you want to branch your circuit. When I added them to my stairway, I pulled power off of the switch and pigtail wired each light in parallel. The most challenging part was drilling through the studs. They have a clear white light with off + 3 levels of brightness, 4000K I believe. Each nightlight senses ambient light levels and turns on/off accordingly. My only concern so far is that awkward dawn/dusk time of day when the lights can't decide if it's time to be on or off and flicker. If it gets too annoying, I'll add a smart switch that will power the circuit according to a schedule. I would love the ability to modify color temperature and adjust the ambient light sensitivity, but otherwise these are perfect.

Pretty easy to install
We’re using these as night lights in the bathroom, they’re on timers. We like that all you have to do is press on the actual light to change it’s brightness

looks good, but if you use the louver the photocell won't work.
I have two of these and if I take off the louver it works fine, but using the louver, it does not turn off when I have the overhead light on. I've tried both settings per the instructions. I decided to keep them because otherwise they look great.

Not bright at all
These are not very bright at all. I would not recommend as a step light. Very disappointed, would have returned but I past my return window.

Afraid of the dark no more.
Got this for a little visibility so I don't wipe out and break a hip on the dark and scary stairs. Install was easy and it has been working like a charm for months. Likey!

Not the best
These look nice and light up the steps well but have some flaws. The light sensor is not very effective and really annoying because it is always just dark enough during the day that they turn on but the light they produce is enough to turn them back off again. So they just flash on and off all day. They were not wired up for a switch so now I'll have to do that with a dusk to dawn timer but that defeats the purpose of the light sensor. Also the cover plate screws are too close together so all 4 cover plates the screws don't sit right.
