Odd fit and no warmth.
I suppose sizing varies for everyone. I normally wear a large with gloves, but based on DeFeet's sizing chart from their website, I ordered a Medium; which fits pretty spot on. The only fit issue is with the pinky finger. They're the same length as the index fingers. On each glove, it's about 1/2" too long. Everywhere else fits fine. Really odd construction. I bought these for use while cycling. I wanted something reasonably warm, without too much bulk, and with good grip. These gloves succeed in 2 out of 3. They ride well. Braking and shifting are easy...fortunately, neither involve the floppy pinky finger. The grip is also really good; especially in wet weather. However, these gloves serve no purpose for warmth. I feel ZERO difference in warmth while wearing them. The (Chicago) wind goes right through them. My hands feel equally warm without these gloves on. That being the case, the only benefit I have found is enhanced grip during wet rides. Although, they don't really keep water out well. So, in COLD, wet weather, these would probably just make your hands colder. I did get caught out in the rain during a ride. I remember the gloves taking forever to dry out. They were still damp the next day.Fit is okay, but I give them 2 stars because of the odd fitting pinky fingers and complete lack of warmth. For me, these gloves really serve no purpose.

Not good for real cold temps, size run a bit large.
Wore them yesterday for the first time. Fit ran large, (I ordered size L) however I like my gloves to fit tight. Temps were in the low 50's/high 40's.I wore glove liners underneath them. otherwise my hands would have froze during the descents. Probably fine for early Fall or Spring riding. Not too good for cold weather, but we all handle the temps differently. I imagine they would make a great running glove. Very well made, don't know about durability yet. No problem gripping the bars, not too bulky, even when wearing glove liners. I do sometimes wear liners in my other cold weather gloves (which are really bukly). As far as price, quality and value, excellent. I often stash a pair of glove liners in my jersey pocket during the winter and put them on or take them off as needed. For the price, this option is no problem.

OK/SERVICEABLE, BUT STRANGE FIT
Decent warmth/bulk ratio; perfectly adequate on a recent 42 degree, sunless day. But: as others have noted, the fingers are a bit long/obtrusive--esp. the pinky, which is extra long for some reason. Unlike other true wool long-finger cycling gloves I've used, its fingertips have a flat contour, rather than following the curve of one's actual fingers. As such--along with the rigid rubbery coating applied to the index, middle, and thumb tips--I found that they get snagged-up slightly in-between my STI levers. Nothing dangerous or anything. Just annoying. Worst of all, though: the odd, widened tailoring of the section just distal to the wrist and along the knuckles (see pictures). Besides creating some give/sliding effect when gripping the bars/hoods, it just looks weird. I wouldn't buy these again. But they're not bad enough to hassle with a return.

Good, not great.
Alright gloves, good 40+ and wet weather riding gloves. Good, not great, for Pacific Northwest road riding.I have been using a cheap pair of army surplus wool gloves for a couple years now for multi-purpose winter bike riding, my only complaint has been that they lack grip. I was hoping that these gloves could bridge the gap, but I don't think they will replace my other gloves. They are just not as warm as basic wool gloves(not the end of the world since a lot of times strait wool seems too warm), they seem pretty thin(may not be as durable?), and most importantly they fit weird(as other reviewers have mentioned). I guess I'm hoping they will either wear into shape or fall apart and I can start a new search.

Quality Product but Finger Size too Short for my Hands
I purchased a version of these gloves probably 10 years ago and unfortunately misplaced them this winter. So I ordered this set and was excited about the color and the feature that allows them to work with touchscreen devices. Unfortunately for me the finger length was too short to fit on my hand comfortably. The length of the middle finger of a Large and Extra Large glove is 3 1/4" and 3 1/2 inches, respectively. My middle finger is closer to 3 3/4 inches. If the fingers were longer I would be so happy to own a pair. The width was comfortable for me (a little over 9 inches around my hand which puts me in the Large size according to their sizing chart).

Fine, so long as there is no velcro nearby.
These gloves worked pretty well in a week of bicycling in miserable weather in Scotland. The problem I had was that if there is any velcro within a mile of them, they will find it and attach themselves to it. Each time you pull them off the velcro, they become more frayed and ratty looking. I have lots of stuff on me and my bike that uses velcro fasteners, so by the end of the week they looked so nasty that I almost threw them away. Instead, I will launder them first, then make the decision whether or not they are worth keeping for a few more rides.

Tiny sizing. Wait and see on durability.
These look fairly durable and are comfortable. Of course, you don't really know until at least three machine washings; mine have only been through one. The other knit gloves similar to these (but from another vendor) that I ordered through Amazon lasted about 5-6 washings before they were worn out.For some reason the Chinese make absolutely tiny gloves. These were marked extra large, but they are tight. I'd say they were a medium.

I bought these hoping they would be good for running/walking etc
I bought these hoping they would be good for running/walking etc. They aren't super expensive so I cant complain too much, but still they should be cheaper than listed. They don't fit well for me or my wifes pair. Its always tough to recommend how to order in regards to size, so I wont do that. Ill just say they fit a lot looser than the normal size gloves we buy. They seem well made and arrived on time.

Great Durable Gloves
Overall great product - as expected. Comfortable and grippy. The thumb conductive fiber works better than the index finger. Lost a star because of the general fit: good finger length, but baggy in the base of the hand and ends of fingers. Was expecting more of a typical glove-liner-snug fit (granted, I do not have hugely thick sausage fingers). The material is very durable -- a notch above normal knit fabric gloves.

Four Stars
Good gloves, shame that over time the wrists become loose and the stitching comes undone.

Not the most comfy
Size is a bit odd. I ordered large but the strange design doesn't let my hand into the glove far enough to be comfy.
