Excellent CD from one of the best ! BB King is a classic and this collection of his work is excellent. If your looking at this then you already know this, the songs are great and the sound quality is just fine, no problems with this CD. You will enjoy hours of pleasurable listening.

This compilation reminds me of why BB King helped form the soundtrack of my childhood, and continued into my adult life. When he passed, it was as if a family member had died, so this collection has been a balm to our spirit.

I was expecting some great BB King music but was amazed at how developed his style was on his early albums. I recommend this great priced box to any fan of his.

Ces 4 cd rassemblent 8 LP : "Singin'the blues" de 1957, "the blues" 1958, "King of the blues"1960, "BB King sings spirituals"1960, "my kind of blues 1961, "Easy listening blues" 1962, "More BB King" 1962, "Compositions of Duke Ellington and others" 1960.Cette compilation a le mérite de rassembler en un seul cd 7 albums historiques , les bases pour connaitre l'artiste, et de plus pour un prix des plus modiques.Certes, très gros bémol, aucune note sur nul livret n'est fournie sur cette compil'.. Le magazine Soul Bag, maintenant édité en kiosque, sortira en septembre 2015 un hommage complet sur BB king avec bien certainement une discographie complète qui pourvoira à cette lacune pour l'acheteur de ce cd. 5 étoiles, donc, pour la musique elle-même.La musique est bien sûr magnifique, la musique des dieux par Le roi des rois. Petit bémol modeste de ma part: l'album de Duke Ellington and others pas indispensable mais comme le dit Mister King dans un de ses entretiens "voyez-vous, le jazz a toujours été un grand frère."Merci Mister King, notre bonheur à l'écoute de ces faces est à l'image de la magnifique photo de pochette de ce cd. Oh! Sweet little angels!
