Shelta Raptor V2

I have been looking for coverage of my ears and perspiration management. All the boonie type hats I have tried fail because the front of the brim sags in front of my eyes and I can't see my disc golf putts. Shelta has solved all three issues. I don't love the squared off look of the front brim. But, I love this hat. Now we need some more colors like khaki, black, and maybe black watch plaid.

always seems like a choice between good protection from the sun and function. A good baseball cap can breathe, but doesn't offer much in the way of sun protection... most other "big" hats I've tried are floppy and/or hot. This has past the test in 85-90 degree weather close to 90% humidity. Sweat was actually dripping off the brim of the hat, but the hat itself stayed relatively dry and cool. It was large enough to offer great protection, but it didn't get in the way while I worked. Really pleased... I found the sizing to be off... I measured and landed squarely in the "small" which I found surprising... I tend to be "medium". My first hat... the small... was painfully tight. I ordered a medium and it fits perfectly without tightening the cinch strap. I guess in high winds I might need to tighten it... but it was comfortable to wear for 8+ hours in really miserable conditions.

Best hat I have ever owned. Light weight, breathable, and it stays on my head in the wind. I have had many compliments on it and people always ask where I got it.

I spend a lot of time ocean paddling and struggle with hats. Most either don't provide adequate coverage or flop down, obscuring your view. This clever design provides maximum sun protection without interfering with your sight. Seems to be very well-made and is holding up beautifully after two months of heavy usage. I also love the easily detached/replaced chin cord and top pocket. Sweat wicking could be a bit better (I'm used to HeadSweats) but does a good job. Recommended!

Was a little skeptical about the shape of the front but after wearing the hat several times it is growing on me. This hat is Exactly as advertised and absolutely does not flop around in the wind. Very well made and I expect it to last. May end up being my favorite go to hat when outdoors.

Great hat but don't like the front. Purchased the seahawk instead.

love that the brim does not flop over my eyes when the boat is at speed. I don't fly as well with the Force as Luke may.
