Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 Bible

i'm still scratching my head on how to edit, sofar i.ve moved the media to the timeline and burned a disk, still have not figured out how to[ cut my] media what i don't want in the film, its alotta book , i'll rassel tru it in my life time i hope, but i'm sure all the information is in there ,for a guy thats not a book worm [ 900 plus pages ] sianora

I recently received this book to help me become familiar with Premiere Pro. It is great for someone getting started and includes a wide range of topics. While I generally prefer color, the black and white illustrations are proving to be most helpful and provide clarity while learning this software.

Clearly this is a well orchestrated presentation to learning Premiere Pro. Nice also because it covers more than the video application, with excerpts from Audition, Photoshop, After Effects. However, I was disappointed it did not cover importing stills adequately. Exporting stills from Premiere is covered well. But in a book of this scope it should certainly be comprehensive - something I cannot claim it is. Best to use this with the user manual.

The ordering procedure, the shipping and the quality of the book were perfect. I just made a mistake. I wanted the CS5 and not the CS3.

Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 Bible is a great tutorial. I especially appreciate the dvd that accompanies the book. They give you audio and video files to use as you advance chapter by chapter. It is pretty much written to help the novice person (like me) grasp the basic understanding of the program but also contains all the detail a much more advanced user would enjoy. I am very happy with this book.
