After getting the package in the mail, I was wondering if I got the right order or if it was something that my mom ordered. Upon opening the package, I was still a bit skeptical that a 7' x 6' blanket would be inside as I'm used to thick and bulky type of coverings for when I go to outdoor locations.When I opened the box, it was so light! It was also packaged in a clear plastic bag, with the 4 stakes and a carrying pouch. But as promised, there was a 7' x 6' parachute type material blanket. So I laid it out over my bed to make sure the size was what it said it was. They were right on the money!Lightweight, foldable and easy to tote around. It was perfect as I was headed to the beach for a quick getaway with friends the following day.It was easy to set up and lay out. Since it wasn't too windy, I opted to not use the stakes but to fill the pockets in the corners with some rocks.The one big plus point is how fast it dried up after we would sit on it wet and how portable it was after a long day at the beach.I do plan to use this for more outdoor activities.

We used this beach blanket on a recent camping trip to the beach. It was extremely windy so it was necessary to have something that anchored down. The blanket was excellent at this. It's a two person job getting it all laid out while the wind is whipping it around but once you do, it stays in place nicely. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is due to the fact that it seemed to let water through even more so than your typical beach towel. When we all stood up our backsides were fairly wet. If you're using this in a bathing suit, that wouldn't matter much. But we were in hiking gear in low temps, so being wet wasn't very pleasant. Other than that, it was great. Seems to be made of quality material that will last a long time. It was big enough for all five of us to sit on and enjoy our lunch. It packs up very conveniently in a bag. Lightweight. I would buy again.

This is a really solid product. It's very lightweight, which is what we were looking for so that it could be thrown in a backpack for hikes and not take up much space. The description says it's 0.6 lbs, and if you were to leave the stakes behind, it would weigh less than half of that. It's not enormous, but serviceable. If you are using it on the beach, I'd say it's really only big enough for 1 person, maybe 2, and the stakes are going to be useless in the sand. But, as I said, we bought it for hiking, parks, fireworks, and the like. It's perfect to put down on grass for a picnic. It packs pretty small, but you could even get a super small compression bag and get it down to the size of a baseball. It's very thin, which is what makes it light, but it's tough. I'm not worried about it ripping at all, but it doesn't provide any softness on the ground.

Good blanket. Came quick and exactly as pictured.One thing I would ask is to please make the note about the blanket not being waterproof larger. I specifically wanted a waterproof blanket (I am not rating down because of that, I didn't read far enough and that's my fault). In the product description I got to "can be used as camping cover" and assumed that it was waterproof. I took it to a concert on a lawn where it had rained earlier in the day and to my dismay we sat on the blanket only to get our jeans soaked. Luckily we were able to rent chairs for a small fee to avoid the water. I just wish the not waterproof part had been mentioned earlier or was singled out more.Luckily I will still get to take it to the beach with me and I'm sure I will get plenty of use out of it.

I love this blanket. I read other reviews, and based on the price, I got it. I was very pleased.The blanket is SUPER light. You won't even know you are bringing it with you. It fit in the cargo pocket in my shorts, which was handy.It is hard to describe the material... it is like a tarp, but soft feeling, not plasticy like a normal tarp. It is perfectly fine to lay on with bare skin, but I think it is the perfect barrier between your towel and the sand. No longer will I need to bring two towels (one for drying off and one for laying on), I can just use one towel.The stakes i found useless on the beach, but they were OK when used in the courser beach at the river. Luckily the pockets in the corner of the blanket work well, I just stuffed a couple beer bottles in the pockets and the blanket was perfectly weighed down.All in all, I think i am going to buy another one, that way I can have a privacy screen \ wind shield.

Great little blanket. I was skeptical when I received it. It comes in a small pouch. It fits in one hand. I have used it at the beach several times and am still amazed at how easy it is to get the sand off and how fast it dries. It is made of a kind of silky material that is very light weight. I am going on a cruise in March and because it is so small, I'm planning on taking it with me. When it was laid out it was big enough for my 5 children to sit on but I think it is probably most comfortable for 2 adults. It was definitely a good purchase. I can't wait for summer to come back so I can use it again.

I recently purchased the Adalid Beach Blanket, and had the chance to put it to use last week. Before I came across this product I considered purchasing a similar blanket by a different brand. I was hesitant at first because the Adalid is half the price and I was concerned about the quality, but we were not disappointed. The only challenge was setting it up in the wind (to be expected with the material). You definitely need two ppl on a windy day. Once set up there were no issues. Overall it's convenient, easy to use, dries quickly, and sand rolls right off. We are ready for another day at the beach!

Excellent item. Quick delivery. It's massive! Only used on grass so far, was mainly bought for summer holiday on the beach. We usually take a picnic blanket to the beach, quite bulky and can be heavy, especially when wet. This appears to be a perfect option, light weight, folds up small, dries quickly. The material feels pretty strong, but will see after kids have crawled over it for a fortnight!

Works a treat! Used this on recent trip flying with carry on bags only - so keen to minimise 'extras'. Plenty big enough for two, saves towels from getting sandy, and so much better than the rafia type beach mats we bought last year, then needed to bin at end of holiday. Packs up sufficiently small that you don't really notice you're carrying it. Left pegs at home as not sure airline would accept these in luggage, and used stones in corner pockets to weight it down. If you sit down on it after a swim, trick is to sit at the bottom of the mat initially while you get yourself dry, then move up to the dry area above. With two people holding opposite sides, so mat is like a sail catching the breeze, you can accelerate the drying process before repacking it.

Great thing to add to your beach bag.... really light weight, easy to set out and pack away. `sand didn't cling to it like it would a towel so therefore you don't find yourself cover in it.It washed very well. The only point to be careful of are the pegs..... we managed to loose 2 so perhaps a different peg with a clip that would anchor it to the blanket. all in all very happy.

I bought two of these blankets for use when out with the kids. We have used them several times and they stand up well to everything that the kids can throw at it and on it. Don't expect to be able to sit on wet ground on this, it absorbs moisture very quickly, this is great when the kids have been playing with water, but not so good on damp ground. For dry places it is ideal though and gives a good area on which to have a picnic. The loops at each corner and the tent pegs mean that even on a windy day it can be set up and left, also means that wriggly kids cant scrunch it all up by accident!!! The corner pockets can also be filled with stones if you are on a harder or stoney area where pegs won't go into the ground. Overall it's an excellent product
