Was okay, but there's got to be better
I recently purchased this for a team running relay race. One team member and myself used these and pretty much agreed that they weren't great.Pros:- Nicely packaged so they were easily packed in with our gear- Decent value for 10- Fairly easy to activate (usually)Cons:- Two out of the 8 we used didn't really activate correctly. One didn't "pop" and didn't really get as cold as the others. One seemed like the outer plastic might have ruptured so we discarded it immediately.- They don't get cold enough. I never had to buffer the coldness with a towel or cloth as the package recommended. I placed the packs directly on my knees and they never felt sufficiently cold.- They don't stay cold very long. They were noticeably less cool after about 10 minutes.In short, they were okay for our purposes but I wouldn't buy these again.

Ideal for a trip
Very convenient icepacks if you're going away. As soon as you squeeze open the inner container the chemicals mix and it's nice & cold for 10-20mins, long enough to calm what aches you. Not as good as real icepack but good enough. I discovered that the inner pack can pop quite loudly when I used one in a side area at MOMA and it went off like a gunshot - the security guard, oh how he laughed.

Work great. delivered on time and in good condition. they make a great addition to my first aid kit.

Great for injuries
These ice packs were bought to be used during physical training sessions and have been used for sprained and tweaked ankles. My only concern is the weight and bulkyness of the total package.

In a dance studio, injuries occur, and it's good to have this product on hand. We had a pulled muscle this week, and we were glad to have the instant cold pack on hand.
