In Sweet Home Once Again
The return to Sweet Home of the Hearth’s second son, Holden, finds him using his business skills to right the family dairy. Not that things aren’t right and run efficiently by Irelynn, his brother Gabriel’s all around girl. Irelynn cannot see her self worth and has given up on being an artist, her true passion. Holden also has returned to deal with the scars of his past in Sweet Home where he was perceived as the geeky genius. While they butt heads over operational skills and Holden’s attempts to wear Irelynn down convincing her she deserves more than her “always too busy” boyfriend, they find the inner strength in each other and let go of the burdens from their past. A superhero with an umbrella and a sigh of a good romance leaves behind Sweet Home once again. I think there’s more in store for Ms Morrow’s followers waiting to return to the little Texas town.

So far, this is my favorite one from Morrow
I’m in love with Holden. The genius geek turned macho billionaire grabbed my heart as soon as I read the first few sentences about him. Irelynn, (don’t you just love the name?), is of Irish descent and a sweetheart. Holden exhibited persistence as he set about to win her love. Irelynn showed patience with another suitor, Emerson. Of course I knew Holden would win, but I rooted for him anyway. My only regret about the book is that when Irelynn finally realized what a dolt Emerson was, she didn’t tell him a thing or two. He wandered off into the sunset to dazzle another victim. Holden did give him a scare once, and that was nice. This is the third book in the Sweet Home series. I’ve enjoyed each one, but this is my favorite. Morrow’s craft has always been good, but it’s even better in Holden.

Made Me Nostalgic for Small Town Life
Both Irelynn and Holden are strong, yet vulnerable. Initially those two seem to bring out the worst in each other, but then... The characters in "Holden" bring a strong sense of reality to the reader. The way people act, react, and speak rings true in every scene. Yes, small town Texans endearingly meddle in everyone else's business, play matchmaker, and feel free to express their opinions on anyone and everything. I enjoyed the first two books in the Sweet Home series; however, "Holden" can stand alone whether you've devoured the other Sweet Home stories (as I did) or not. One by one, the Hearth brothers are finding love!

This is a truly enjoyable read. This book also brought tears from time to time which, of course, means it is a good one! The end gives us a hint that maybe yet another brother has a story to tell. I surely hope so.

Morrow Delivers
I liked this sweet ending to the Sweet Home series. "Holden" speaks to the heart that is lost within itself. Miss Morrow did a fabulous job drawing her characters from their shells and allowing their inner beauty shine through.

Review of Holden
Holden is book 3 in the Sweet Home series and the best so far. I found it hard to lay down because Holden is such a charming character. His humor as he pursues Irelynn is heart-catching. My favorite books are the ones where the writer incorporates humor, not the slapstick kind, but natural humor arising from the situations the characters get embroiled in.Holden is a Sweet Home resident who left as soon as he could. Having a higher IQ than the majority of Sweet Home residents as a child and teen caused his classmates to bully him. Instead of hanging around to battle his way through life into adulthood, Holden chose to move away to Dallas where he could work in obscurity and be accepted for who he was. Now, he's back to help out at the family dairy farm while his brother is away on a vacation.Irelynn is the assistant manager of the Sweet Home dairy. When her boss leaves town on vacation, he puts her in charge during his absence along with his second assistant. Assuring her nothing could go wrong and that he has a backup plan just in case, he leaves. Her insecurities surface and become mountains as the other assistant develops pneumonia and is sent to bed by his doctor.I hope Jayna Morrow writes another book in the Sweet Home saga soon.I purchased this book at a book signing event, and the review posted is my honest opinion.

Makes you want to live nearby this town
This sweet romance story proves that you don't have to have a whirlwind speedy plot in order to do the story justice. This novel is based around hometown type events and feelings. There is plenty of drama and the characters have a lot to overcome. But they feel more real than other books and that really draws the reader in. What a great book.

A must-read!
An inspiring story about staying true to yourself and accepting who you are as a person. I absolutely loved the characters of Holden and Irelynn, and their romance was truly heart-felt. The way Jayna Morrow tied the whole story together at the end was simply marvellous. A must-read!
