These llamas are full of drama!
When I saw the title, I knew I had to read, “My Llama Drama,” because I love drama in any form or fashion! This is such a warm and fun musical read that will be loved by little people and big people alike. The narrator welcomes readers to the llama farm and lets them in on a little secret – the llamas talk to him! And not only do they talk to him, but they burp and laugh and sing and joke and ask him all sorts of silly questions! This lively group of llamas come in all shapes, sizes and colors and keep the narrator on his toes throughout the story.Kids will get a kick out of the llamas crazy antics and adults will have fun reading it aloud to them. It’s also a perfect story for the beginning reader. Told in perfect rhyme, it’s a fun, magical twirl through llama land and the pictures are absolutely spot on – each llama has it’s own personality that shines brightly and jumps right off the pages! There are also a few fun facts about llamas at the end of the story. Great story!

Fun Rhyming Story
My Llama Drama has been formatted to be read in landscape mode (holding your device horizontally), where it takes up the entire screen. Words and pictures display together on the screen like a traditional picture book open to two pages. A lot of self published Kindle authors can't be bothered to format their work and it displays like a mess with bits of text on one page and an image on a small part of the screen on another, so I always like to take the time to point out when authors care about their reader's experience and their own work enough to take the time to format it.The story is fun, and the text rhymes. Basically the reader is introduced to some fictitious lamas of various colours.

Snappy rhymes and charming illustrations make for read aloud fun
Who doesn't love a llama? And this whimsically illustrated group of woolly characters will totally charm you. Lisa Kalma's humorous rhymes introduce you to a wide variety of llama personalities, while at the same time drawing you into the mystery--how does the narrator have such intimate knowledge of all of these llama's thoughts and feelings? You will definitely want to read for yourself and find out. Perfect gift for a child beginning to enjoy the pleasures of language.

Wonderful illustration!
I enjoyed reading this book. I am a llama enthusiast, mother, and avid children’s book reader. I adored the fun illustrations in this book. The rhythm of the story and the colorful pictures would capture the attention of a preschool audience. It might be fun to try reading it with different accents or dialects. I will definitely read this aloud to the little people in my life. I gave it four stars because it wasn’t much of a story; but it did stimulate the imagination and there were some llama facts in the back. Stars are subjective. I was hoping for a story. I do highly recommend this book for its entertainment value and opportunity for trying different types of voices for the various llamas.

Love the Rhymes and the Llamas
The Seussian-style rhymes were wonderful. The characters were so individual and likable, I wished I had a small child with me to read this book to, using, of course, a different voice for each one. I can easily picture a small child being enthralled by the sights and sounds of this book.

Silly read but lots of fun!
My Llama Drama is a fun book about a group of Llamas who seem to be talking to each other about some silly things. Some of the children didn't know much about (or hadn't heard of) a Llama so this was a really fun and different book for them to be read. They thought it was amusing to see all of the silly things the llamas said to each other and found the rapping llama particularly entertaining! The characters in the story are entirely made up of llamas but they are all so different and have differing personalities. This is really fun to see as it shows that everyone has different looks and preferences but we are all still the same which is a great message for the children to get from the book. The illustrations are very eye catching and really kept the children's attention. I liked how there were different colour llamas in the middle of the book as this is great to help them learn colours. It allowed me to ask them which colour llama was talking then and be they'd excitedly shout the answer and have a giggle about the funny coloured llama at the same time! This is a short story but it was so much fun to read. A brilliant and silly book with a chance to learn a bit about llamas too!

A must for the bedtime reading list!
Who doesn't love a story of a talking Llama? Especially if talking is only one of the surprising things they can do! From the off I was confident that not only would my children enjoy hearing this story at bedtime, but that I would also enjoy reading it. For me, rhyming picture books are absolutely perfect and this is no exception.A sweet story and bright, colourful and loveable pictures will make this a hit with parents and children of all ages!
