Ergo Wedge Laptop Stand

This is nothing more than a 3x12x9 piece of charcoal grey/black Supreem packing foam cut on the diagonal to form a wedge shape. I doubt that it cost the seller more than 50 cents.However, it's also a perfect solution for positioning my Lenovo X201 tablet on my desk - in fact it looks like it was made for specifically for my tablet.$15 plus shipping? I don't see how I could have found a more ideal solution at any price.Perhaps you could wait around until you just happen to purchase something that comes packaged with a similiarly sized piece of foam and then trim it to the same size. But factor in the cost of your wait and prep time and I doubt that you'll find your home-grown solution to be a better value than just buying the Ergo Wedge outright as I did.I recommend this product highly. It fits, it works - just buy it!

I should have looked at the picture closer - it is simply a piece of foam - the kind they use for packing material. No cover on it. I am sure it will fall apart over time, it arrived bent on teh edges, but the cost wasn't bad so I will keep it.I tried it with my laptop placed on my lap but the side of laptop with the screen makes it too heavy and the laptop falls over -- but on a flat surface it works. If you used it on your lap with an iPad it would work ok since there is nothing on the iPad to make it top heavy.On another note. I also received a note with this item - it said " A reminder from God" with a prayer on it. I thought this was completely inappropriate to send with my foam wedge. Not professional and the company should not assume all people share the same beliefs.

Yes, they are a bit pricy for just soft foam pads, but they work well. I like that you can slide them around on the desk without scratching the furniture. I also like that you can cut them to fit the item it supports. I purchased the plastic unit and it has rubber legs on the bottom so you have to pick up the calculator to move it. Some have worried that they won't last but I have several other pads that are at least 15 years old and they are still ok.

I don't like using Lap Tops but that is what I now have at work. I am so glad to see that there was something out there to raise it up for easier typing. This wedge is great!

So far, so good. This is keeping my wrists in the appropriate anti-carpal-tunnel position, relieving pain when using my keyboard. It is shorter, for laptop use, but still works very well for a longer keyboard if centered properly. The three inch height is perfect. Thank you.

This arrived as posted, I just thought I was getting something besides a cut piece of styro-foam. probably wouldn't buy if I were you.

Priced a little high, but it suits my needs, so it's ok.
