I'm so confused
I must admit that I was entertained, but for all of the wrong reasons. The costumes look worse than a school play. It's like Disney on Ice had a baby with H&M, but died and was reincarnated as a dishrag. The accents are all over the place, but that's so common in these type of adaptations that I can ignore it. This is one of my favorite stories so I am a bit judgey, however my little one had a good time with it.

Wonderful rendition and fun!
There've been many unfair negative reviews claiming this is not the movie with Will Smith. This version DID come out May 2019 as well as "Aladdin" with Will Smith. They both came out at the same time, but with different titles. If people don't take the responsibility to read before they view, why give this a bad review? This was a very entertaining, interesting rendition of Aladdin. Good characters, good plot, decent writing. A fun ride but more so with FX from maybe the 1990's, lol. I enjoyed it very much!

Thought this was the original
Got tricked. I looked up Alladin and wanted the original and got this instead. My mistake, but covers colors are alike. I don't like this version much at all.

This was surprisingly good
This had some great acting, and the Genie was REALLY great! I get that people are all upset that it is not Disney, but there have been quite a few versions of Alladin and to downvote it just for that reason is ridiculous. I really liked it!

A lot of Praises to Muslim Religion
Not what most expect from the traditional Aladdin including the constant mention about the Muslim religion. Obviously those that are Muslim may still be interested however it also looks extremely fake and the effects are extremely poor. And this is coming from someone that enjoys movies as old as the 1950's. Very disappointing if you're expecting anything close to any of the Disney Aladdin movies. Definitely couldn't get through the whole movie.

Not the Disney Version, but that's OK
I enjoyed this film for its slight changes to the story we all "know". Was everything perfect...no, but it didn't matter. I still got caught up in the storytelling.

Old story, modern presentation
The mythical creature was perhaps a little over the top but otherwise I thought it was well done and I enjoyed it.
