Q: Can a mixing valve be attached to adjust the hot and cold water that would then enter the unit??

The touchless faucet include mixing valve and hot &cold water supply lines,you can adjust temperature with it.

Q: Where do the batteries go?

I used the AC adapter so no batteries were needed. But I believe they go into the control box mounted separate from the faucet.

Q: Is the spout body made of brass? Is the valve ceramic? Is it cheaply made? Can you adjust the water pressure via the water valve?
