It won't stick anywhere on the dash and it doesn't work on the glass because it would be upside down. It also shows North all the time doesn't matter if you turn directions or not. Save your money DON'T BUY!!!

It basically always says that you're traveling SW. It stuck to my windshield okay. This was a huge waste of money.

Doesn't constantly pinpoint the exact directional location is off abit but still able to determine which direction your traveling.

All I want is to know the compass direction when I am driving. It is displayed on the backup camera screen when I have it in default mode. But if I use another app I have no compass! Bad design (it should be on the front display with speed and all that other stuff.) This compass will not display compass direction because it is magnetic and all the metal in my car distorts the reading. I need an electric GPS compass, but they only come with HUDs that can display dozens of pieces of information. I hate to give it less than 5 stars because as a compass outside it seems to work perfectly.

My compass stuck on the windshield the first time and has been accurate from the start. If I mount my phone next to the compass, there appears to be a slight distortion, but not much . . .

I hope others had a better experience but mine just did not work. I received it as pictured, red line on SW. I mounted it in my car the night before, confident that, the next morning on my way to work that the winding roads of Northern Virginia would cause the bezel to move and accurately report my heading. I drove to work and back. Nada. I took the unit for a walk. De nuevo, nada. So I took it for a walk through my neighborhood. It never moved. Even though I adjust the tilt several times it just did not move. Unfortunately, I destroyed and threw out the packaging when I received it (what brand new compass does not work at least for a few hours?) So have no prayer to return it. And, just before writing this review, I threw the unit away. IT JUST DID NOT WORK! Good luck. I hope your experience is more positive.

Seems like a simple compass which you just attach to your windshield. Not so, mine says E-NE no matter what direction the car is heading. There is no calibration that I can see and the windshield is clear of anything that should prevent it from pointing in the right direction. Too bad it doesn’t work because it looks pretty cool on the surface of the windshield.

Not working inside car but outside. Totally useless.

This is the third car compass I have purchased from amazon. None have worked. this point always pointed north - moved a little if I tapped the top as I was turning. Wish I could return it but it made me so frustrated I threw it out my window. You can find it on hwy 401E just passed Kitchener On.

They were useless to us in cars. Both our cars had electronics and they’re sitting on the shelf, unable to use them.
