Does not work for standard 8.5x11 laminating sheets.
This lamination machine advertises that it laminates 8.5 x 11 pages , however NO standard laminating sheets (including the ones shown on Amazon to commonly be purchased with it) fit in it (since they are all actually 8.9 x 11.4)... they all have to be trimmed... It will take a standard sheet of paper.. however the laminating sheets themselves are too large. I cannot locate a package of laminating sheets that fit in this thing. For ease of your larger laminating needs, skip it. If you're just laminating smaller pictures, name tags etc.. it works well... :-(

NOT FOR U.S. LETTER OR LEGAL SIZE PAPER!
I ordered this laminator because of its compact size, unfortunately I have to return it because of false description. It was listed that it could take sheets up to 9 inches wide. As shown in the photos, it cannot take standard (8.5"X11") letter pouch which measures 8.9"X 11.4". I have to do some trimming in order to use it. Quite dissappointed! I gave it two stars instead of one because the manufacturer's enclosed spec sheet states that it uses A4 size in contrast to the seller's claim that it can take wider size sheet.

Nice little machine!
Been wanting one of these for quite a while now and finally got one on prime day :) It was really cheap but the machine is nice! Easy to use and does a great job even with off-brand laminating pouches. I was afraid that it would be too small for what I needed it for when I originally got it, but it's perfect!! Will do 8.5" x 11" sheets and smaller. Highly recommend this if you're looking for a laminator.

Great little laminator
I was concerned when I saw a review stating the pouches they ordered from amazon didn't work, so i tried those before the ones included. I'm happy to say they worked. I ordered AmazonBasics Letter Size Sheets Laminating Pouches 9 x 11.5in. Now I can be the crazy mom that saves everything! Very happy with thia purchase. Arrived on time and was cheaper than I saw listed anywhere else.

My fifth grader loves it.
My fifth grader loves it. She crafts all kinds of things and we should have brought one earlier. Her teacher might need one so we are thinking about donating one to her classroom.It's very easy to operate...quiet...smooth...quick...flawlessly each time. We also love the hot/cold dual function. Inexpensive and works great. Deserves 5 stars.

You get what you pay for. Doesnt always seal perfectly.
You get what you pay for. I got this on sale for 13.00 so I didnt expect much and I dont get much. It works for the light work I need it too, but there are times it doesnt get hot enough to really seal tightly and it had a tendency to turn itself off. But for the occasional small school project it works fine.

small and easy to use
this is excellent basic laminator for its price. it compacts in size and heats up very quickly I use it to laminate price tags for work. it works perfectly. it heats up very quickly. it can be used for a longer period of time as my projects are usually a lot of small tags that take a while to get everything done. I never had any problem with overheating. it's worth it for its price.
