Great looking plant.
May 1, 2021The 1st plant has been in for a month and has grown an inch but is filling out nicely. The 2nd plant has been in for 2 weeks and has grown 2 inches. This one arrived 36" tall with 5 stems and with the same great packing that the first one had. We have been getting 3 - 4 fay delivery but that may be related to our location. Both plants are looking healthy and I am seeing new base shoots on both of them. Overall no complaints.April 1, 2012Bought 1 as a trial planting. Arrived as a surprise 2 weeks earlier than Amazon's estimate. Came in a sturdy cardboard box with the wrapped root ball securely tied to the inside of the box with string and packing tape. Each individual stem has its own paper wrapper. The surrounding potting soil was covered with water storing gel and the whole ball then wrapped in paper and sealing tape. Do not try to pull the tape off. Just cut top to bottom thru the wrapping. 4 healthy looking 1/4" stems all with leaves. The tallest at 33". A nice set of planting and growing instructions. Check back in a couple of months. I think I should be ordering more.

The plants did not survive a mild winter
I bought these plants (Over $192) because they were rated to thrive in my zone. They came in small but grew decently until winter. Then by the end of winter they were dead. A very mild winter in zone 7.I tried to contact the company and requested a refund. They do not stand behind their products. It was outside the return date. This really isn't an excuse because the damage was done because they probably sent me the wrong plants or they describe it incorrectly. There was no way of knowing the plants were the wrong ones for my zone until after the winter. You are suppose to put these in way before winter so they can acclimatize so its impossible to return these plants inside the proper time frame.Do not do business with this company. They do not stand behind their plants.ZERO STARs but not possible!

Arrived Perfect....at a great price!
I ordered 16 of these to use as a privacy hedge and they arrived much quicker than anticipated. They were very well packaged for the shipping and all arrived in perfect condition. They were much bigger and fuller than I thought they would be. I received these in January and immediately planted them in the ground. So far, so good. They are doing great and fortunately, we've had plenty of rain here to keep them watered although I did put a soaker hose on them as well just in case it's needed. Looking forward to seeing how they grow in spring. Right now, they aren't really growing since it's been so cold (20's/30's at night...40's/50's during the day) but they look healthy. I would def buy these again if needed in the future.

I'm giving it 4 stars because it arrived in two days instead of two weeks
The advert says "Currently 3+ Feet Tall - Clumping, Non-Invasive Form ".I don't mind that it's a little scrawny, as it is green and healthy and happy.I mind that it is only 28" tall instead of 36" . I know bamboo grows fast but still.. it didn't shrink 8", unless they including the pot which is about 7" or 8" deep. And then that's pretty low if you count the roots... Just saying.I could have bought it locally for half the price to get this size and quality from the greenhouse...But it's planted in it's temporary home inside the house until late spring next year when it goes outside beside the swimming pool and hottub, so it can grow to give privacy. But again, the estimated delivery was Nov.16 -20 and I ordered on 11/10 and received it 11/12 so with Covid going on, I'm just thankful I DIDN'T have to go to the local greenhouse...

Good response to problems. Bad planting instructions
My first bamboo never arrived at my house and the company sent a replacement. Love the fact they made sure everything was corrected. The instructions say to plant right away which is what I did but it looks as though this plant was never sun hardened and came out of a greenhouse. So the replacement plant looks sunburnt and may or may not survive.

Great Delivery. Healthy plant.
It was a gamble! First time buying plant on Amazon. Shipping was great. Plant took a bit to set in, as expected. It is growing happy and healthy now! I'll probably buy more!

Expected a healthier more leafy plant
I needed new bamboo since my black bamboo decided to bloom and die. I hope the few $50 piece of sticks survive the transplant, it like they just dig it out of their yard when people order and shove it in a plastic container, they must be making a killing selling these disappointing plants, I know bamboo grows fast, but seriously 😒

DO NOT BE FOOLED. THE PLANTS ARE EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY.
I received these plants yesterday. I bought 25 of them at a cost of $1,364, to create a hedge.I took the plants out of the box as soon as they arrived, took them out of all the packing, and watered them. Here's what I can say, I wouldn't have bought these plants if I had seen them in person, not even for $10 a piece. They're anemic looking, have stalks thinner than a pencil, and most of the leaves are missing. Unfortunately, there is a "no returns, no refunds" policy, so I'm out almost $1,400. I'm more than disappointed. I've included photos of the plants that arrived yesterday, and the condition they arrived, compared to the photo they advertised.
