It Actually Works Great
Very pleasantly surprised with how good this bug repellent is. My older son has really bad rash reactions to bug sprays that contain deet, so I needed an alternative. As a mom, I don't want to add a ton of un-natural chemicals onto my kids.PROS:- It works! Mind blown. I thought for sure the Florida mosquitoes would move right in, bypassing a natural deterrent and feast away. (When I bought this, I was hopeful, but super skeptical). But it actually keeps them off. My boys are very prone to getting bit up badly when we play in the backyard (especially toward evening time). Without spray, they easily come in with multiple welts all over. With this, there are no bites where spray coverage reaches.- Dries fast - this is perfect when you have kids on the move, or when you need a fast fix without feeling all oily- Its organic and not packed with nasty chemicals - this is a big peace of mind for me. Especially with a special needs child who tends to occasionally lick himself.- Nice citronella smell. I personally enjoy this scent, so I really like it (it sure beats the potent nose burning smells of standard bug sprays)- This little bottle goes a long way. I thought due to it being only 4oz. I'd run through it in no time (we use it nearly on a daily basis). But its coverage is great and you'll only need a few pumps.- It lasts for quite awhile. We can play in the yard for a couple hours and they're good to go!CONS:- It is a bit pricey for the size. But you get what you pay for I guess, it is a good product that works. It'd be nice if it was a little cheaper though.- As mentioned above, there is a potent citronella scent. This is great if you like the smell, but not so much if you don't.- It doesn't seem to be water resistant. As soon as my son plays in his kiddie pool, if I don't re-spray after, he comes in with bites.

Works agains mosquitoes; apply thoroughly and often!
In my experience, natural insect repellents don't work as well as DEET, but they won't kill you either. We tested this on a recent weekend camping trip that was VERY buggy.PROS- Natural ingredients: I'm not so worried about poisoning my kid with this- Effective against mosquitoes: when applied thoroughly, we had few to no mosquito bites. It didn't repel other insects, such as flies- Scent: this has a strong scent from the plant oils used, but it wasn't as overwhelming or unpleasant as other natural insect repellents that I've used. It didn't make us sneeze or choke when spraying it.- Easy to apply: I prefer a spray like this to a lotion that has to be rubbed in.- Aluminum container: sturdy and long-lasting, less risk of pthalates or plasticizers leaching into the product (I'm not sure what it's lined with, if anything)CONS- You need to be VERY thorough in applying this. We found that un-sprayed areas were likely to get bitten, and it was best to spray over clothes as well. When my daughter took her hat off and I forgot to reapply to her head, she got a line of mosquito bites on her forehead. I also found that we needed to reapply after a couple of hours.- Size: this bottle is only 4 ounces. Since you'll likely be spraying a lot of it, it isn't going to last very long!

Still got bit- Maybe less?
I live in PA, idk if that makes a difference but the bugs around here go crazy on hikes. Still got some bites. Maybe just go ham with the spray.

It smells so good people ask me what perfume I wear
I have always used All natural bug spray. It’s gentle on skin and great for the environment . Recently the brand I normally buy stopped selling (the Greenerways Organics). And I wanted to find a brand that was similar. NO CHEMICALS. Just oils. This is my new favorite bug spray. It SMELLS SO MUCH BETTER. But I never imagined I would constantly have people tell me I smelled great. Just make sure you SHAKE very well. I’ve also noticed for me it works better if I spray into my hand and then apply like a body oil. If I just spray on top of my clothes it left a moment for a bug to but where the spray missed.

Does Not Work on Black Flies, Plus the Bottle Leaks
I usually use Avon Skin So Soft Bug Guard Plus SPF 30. It works well, but I wanted something else for when I want bug protection but do not need a sun block, which has that slightly greasy feeling. Last week I went on a hike to take waterfall photos, and brought the Anti Bug Spray. It seemed to repel mosquitoes, or at least I did not get any mosquito bites. However I absolutely got eaten by black flies. I reapplied it several times, and it did not help. I had to cut the hike short. A couple of days later I went again, this time with the Avon repellent. No problems at all.The other problem I had was that after the original hike, I placed the Anti Bug Spray in a zip lock bag, and when I got home I left it on my workbench in the garage. A couple of days later I noticed that much of the remaining repellent had leaked from the Anti Bug Spray into the zip lock bag. The cap was on, and I saw no cracks, so I am not sure how or where it leaked. I had planned on tossing the spray anyway. I am on Amazon now to buy more of the Avon repellent.

Good product
Spray this around my sleeves, neck, and brim of my hat. Works great at keeping insects away from my face while working outside. The scent isn't too strong which I like.
