As a teacher
I haven't looked through the whole magazine thoroughly, but I think that some of it is a little above the preschool level. I thought I had ordered the preschool level issues but don't see that word anywhere to indicate that. The one thing I would suggest is a change in the wordsearch. The word bank is in lower case letters and the actual puzzle is in upper case letters. To a preshcooler who is just learning the two different kinds of letters that is pretty much an impossible puzzle to solve. If the word bank words were also in upper case letters I think a preschooler could learn to do it, although it would still be difficult because of the layout of word searches (backward and upside down words). There are many things I like about the magazine like the craft activity and the recipe.

Four Year Old Enjoys It - Her Two Year Old Brother Likes It Too
The kids seem to really like receiving mail (okay, mostly the four year old) - and it's fun to have new stories and activities arrive. Plus, we take their magazines with us when we travel; don't feel bad about leaving them behind when we go.

Good for young readers
We bought the subscription for our 6 year old granddaughter, and she took to it almost immediately. It helped interest her in reading, and she enjoys getting the magazine in the mail. We ordered the renewal through Amazon, but next year we'll probably switch to a magazine for someone a bit older.

For the little ones
I purchased this particular magazine for 3 of my grandchildren all . After researching, I felt it had the perfect blen of fun and learning for them. Their parents love the magazine as well. The children are able to do the activities wih little assistance from their parents. That is a good thing, it not only teaches them, but also helps build their self confidence.

Great Magazine for Young Children
My 5-year-old and I just read her first Humpty Dumpty magazine yesterday. She loves it. I love it. It held her attention, she got to practice her reading, she laughed at the funny parts. She enjoyed doing the craft project (painting a flower pot) today, too!
