Perfectly fixed binder of first addition book.
Bought to fix Family Bible from 1800’s. Waiting for non humid sunny day to put outside with flat rock on top to keep binder tight against inside pages. Took me a long time to use since I was nervous how it would work on this precious antique bible. Now that I have used also on deceased Dad’s WW2 book which is priceless to me, bible is next.

The first shipment didn't work out but the replacement process was super easy and I'm very satisfied.

Great to use for canvas repair.
I had a tear in one of my paintings. I got this glue to patch it with another piece of canvas. It walked perfectly.

I was skeptical, but it has held up really well!
I had a Bible that was falling apart. It was a cheap binding, and I wasn't sure what to do because it was a Bible with sentimental value that couldn't be rebound without losing part of the margin with notes in it. I read the reviews and decided to give this adhesive a try, figuring it was pretty cheap and there wasn't much else I could do. Imagine my amazement when it was quite simple to spread on, I just clamped it as best I could between some other books for a day or two, and now the new binding has lasted for months with no issues. I'm pretty amazed (and happy!). Definitely give it a try if you are at your wits' end (like I was!).

AVOID -- Doesn't Do What it Claims
The media could not be loaded. My project was to repair the brittle binding of an old, difficult-to-find paperback book, which also didn't come in the promised condition. The book broke apart in 2 pieces...just snapped in my fingers when i opened it. I knew this was going to need repair if I'm going to read it. And it seemed easier to repair it than to locate another copy.Seemed.See my process in the photos and video I'm uploading.I researched the method, which is to secure the pages (i did this with a wooden flower press) and sand down the spine to the paper. I did this and also dusted it with a dry paintbrush to make sure no loose particles were left. I applied the product according to instructions on the bottle, applying a thick coat of this Brodart Acid-Free Bind-Art Flexible Adhesive Transparent Archival Safe Glue and left to dry for 24 hours. This afternoon, the glue was transparent as promised and dry. The book seemed sturdy -- until I opened it. There was NO give whatsoever. It promised to "bond permanently" and "remain flexible." Far from it.The binding snapped just like it did with the old adhesive. Other pages didn't adhere at all.My book is now in worse shape than when I started -- broken in MULTIPLE places.Thank goodness there is a return policy, because this POS product is headed home. This is no better that Elmer's glue. It probably is Elmer's glue packaged to be something else. It's most CERTAINLY not for rebinding a book.Don't waste your time or money. Disappointing.

Works Great!
This was easy to use and to apply. I used this to make a custom sketchbook for myself using paper from left over sketchbook pages and it worked with no issues.
