This product is amazing. I had a large chip on my counter which is mixed yellow and white an it peeled and looked black. I used this repair kit and it looks like new

Poor quality
I bought this kid to repair a chip in my coffee table's laminate finish, and when I opened the package, I was disappointed to find that the seal on 2 of the containers was not tight, and so the liquid inside had thickened, making it difficult to mix and apply. The colors provided also are not true primaries (I know very well how to mix paint and match colors, I have a degree in oil painting), so regardless of how I tried, I couldn't get the correct color blend. When I tried applying my poorly approximated color mixture, that was lumpy due to the poorly sealed containers, it didn't actually adhere to the surface as intended. I tried several different methods of application, none of which were successful. Ultimately, this was a complete waste of my time and money. I was able to remove the product from the table, and now I just have accepted the chipped surface because the repair kit would have made it look even worse.

Used it to touch up formica countertop.
It's okay. Not exactly easy to use. But it helped cover up a blemish on counter top.

cat life
got a cat and had to train her not to scratch my leather bed frame. with the right color matching it can make it look untouched by our clawed furbabies, five stars.

An ok temporary fix
First of all, you have not much room for mistakes because you don't get much to work with. Luckily I just had two medium and one small spots on a coat to repair, just to get me thru this fall so I can wait til next year to buy a new coat. Ok so what I learned is make sure you micro wave the activators and whatever colors you pick out for your product. Do one spot at a time. this so you can see how it comes out for you. Second of all, don't think you can wear whatever you repair in a few minutes. You will have to give it at least 2 days to be on the safe side. If it's a chair or something, it might take longer before sitting on the chair. Takes a while to dry thoroughly, and the products definately need to be micro wavedto get them as loose as possible for easy spreading. You only get 1 spatula but you need 2. So I used a plastic knife for an additional spatula. Because you have to mix the activators and the color separately. And they need to be applied separately. Very sticky material also.So this product served a temporary purpose I needed but I won't buy it again.

Be sure to read the contents carefully
I'm disappointed, but I have to take some responsibility because I should have read the product better and possibly asked the seller a question or two before purchasing. This is like a liquid that turns into a sealant. I purchased it to repair an office chair which I found out to be fake leather once it started peeling. I guess $250 isn't enough for a real leather office chair? So yeah, I needed alot of black and this kit contained a tiny little container (the size of water colors from grade school) to use. It contained many other colors, such as yellow, red, green, white, grey, blue, and brown...and I'm wondering who on earth has a red, yellow, green. or blue faux leather furniture piece??? Who??? Only one black, so naturally, once I figured out how to use this, the product had run out (not to mention the amount that spilled when I struggled to open it). Some of it got all over my nails and fingers, and luckily it came right off.The "dried in 20 minutes" is not true. It actually totally dries in 24 hours, so keep that in mind.I'm praying that this holds it until I can just get a new chair. While I covered most major tears, I can see that by the fact that it came off my nails and fingers so easily, it probably won't be a lasting fix. I'm hoping it does!!! But I doubt it.If anyone out there reads this and knows of a better product, please let me know. I love my chair! I don't want to get a new one :(

I used this to cover a small mark on a countertop. It worked perfectly.
Countertop mark. I am going to also try it on a few kitchen tiles to cover minor chips. Excellent product.

Did Not Work
This did not work. I followed the directions and the product took MUCH longer to cure. It was still tacky 24 hours later. I tried it on 2 different areas of a black and red seat. The black area had a big hole so I inserted a piece of vinyl in the hole then used black ReStor-It. This area took a long time to cure but was mostly acceptable. The red hole is another story. I'm good at mixing color but it was translucent and it took more than 24 hours to cure. When it was finally dry it didn't look good. I ended up covering the area with a separate red vinyl patch. I'd recommend Lock Tight's vinyl glue and buying vinyl to mach. Quick and seems to be holding up well on our high traffic seating area.

Waste of money
Absolute garbage. The leather patterned squares they provide to leave the same finish don't work at all. The patch is flat looks awful. Waste of money

Nothing
It wasn’t as good as it stated

Meh.
Make sure it's a little tiny rip because anything bigger will look bad.It ruined my furniture instead of fixing it. It took 2 full days to dry.
