My main challenges: 1) getting case open. Heating it gently helped. Getting a better case opening tool helps.2) removing battery: I basically had to brute force it.3) getting the 6 teeny screws back in My technique was to manually get them on the screw driver— they kind of stick…Took me about 1hr 45 min

First off, I got shipping over night, which came in about 10 hours following my order!Great instructions and tools. The battery works wonderful and last a little longer then the factory battery.I have 3 iPhone SE 1st Generations. 2 are brand new device replacements from Apple. I put this battery in my other older iPhone SE. This allows me to compare a brand new Apple battery at 100% capacity and this one, new at 100% capacity as well. This one does last better then the factory Apple battery.I can set my phone on airplane mode and it stays at 100% charge for 2 days. (This is new usage for the first week of course.)The screen shot shows I charged it one night, left it on airplane mode for about 20 hours, then used it for about 8 hours, and after it’s at 60%. It depends on what you do of course. My usage was calls, internet, streaming video, online shopping apps, and music.I’m going to order a few more of these for when my other phones with the Apple batteries blow out.

Can’t say this was easy. During the installation I thought maybe I had killed my phone. I took my time, had to get a bright light to shine on the work, and I needed a magnifying glass. The screws are so tiny that I had to do them like braille. I had to feel for the tip of them as I personally couldn’t use the magnifying glass and the tweezers at the same time. I am glad all was successful. Best of luck to you if you take this on. If I did this, then you can too.

I work on phones and I'm always replacing batteries. My customer returned in less than a week with battery issues. Went through the normal process of disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, charging it with an external charger and even doing a soft reset. Nothing helped the battery just wouldn't hold charge very well and it took a very long time to reach 100%. It should not take over 3 hours to fully charge. I do not recommend purchasing this battery

Update:After complaining about the issue, I got a full refund which is really top notch service so I'd consider buying again without any risk. Hence also updated the review to neutral (3*).=========================================================================Only lasted about half a year and then bulged up and almost destroyed the phone (s. pictures)

Out of all the batteries that I have ordered from Amazon this battery is the only battery to work correctly all the other batteries must have been detective and I didn't even know thisone holds its actual charge

Amazon's product information about installing the battery just said: "Please read the instructions carefully before installing the battery or watching video tutorials on the Internet." But the kit neither included instructions nor provided a link to an instructional video on the internet. There are various YouTube third-party videos, but they offer differing approaches to even the disassembly and battery removal. Which of them is right or better or safer? Remember, lithium-ion batteries pose fire risks if damaged.
