Loved this when I first got it, loved that it stored all our shoes at the front door, loved that we could sit on it, loved the color and the material. After only a month however, the top corners ripped. Now the inner cardboard like material is broken and the whole edge is the front is hanging off with the staples and nails sticking out. This is with minimal light use, I would still recommend this product just be gentle, perhaps we open and close the box too frequently or it is just not very sturdy and more mean for occasional use rather than daily use.Update 9/25/16: I contacted Amazon 3x about this product, they said they would e-mail the manufacturer and company. Amazon really fell short here! All three represenetives never e-mailed the company, but told me they did! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Then I wrote several times to the company who didn't respond to my repeated e-mails and calls. Last night the metal staple sticking out of the top cut my five year olds hand, now I will be throwing the whole thing away, waste of money

This is a nice way to add a little bit of storage in plain sight. My health took a turn, and I have a few medical devices I have to use on a regular basis, like a blood pressure cuff and sharps containers. This is a good solution. It is easy to access, and looks nice to just be left out. It keeps me from having the devices scattered all over my living room. It can hold enough weight to put feet on it. The only problem I came across is the faux leather. After about six months, it all cracked away from the decorative stitching across the lid. It started looking a little rough. I really like the box itself though, so I’ll likely just go to the fabric store and recover it soon.

This is a nice-looking ottoman for the price, quick and easy to put together (it just unfolds). Keep in mind you do get what you pay for with furniture; it’s definitely not sturdy enough for an adult to sit on, and one of the two I bought came with the lid slightly warped, showing it’s nothing more than cardboard around the rim. However, the cloth seems nice quality and it’s a great way to add color to a room. I’m redoing my living room and have been trying to find light green accents, and this worked perfectly. I would recommend going ahead and storing blankets or something in it, as it doesn’t want to stay completely unfolded without something inside to fill it out. All in all, I think this is a fair value for the price and I do love the color.

Pleasantly surprised with these..go together incredibly easily and look quite nice. Am using one as footstool and it's sturdy and comfortable. Using the other in guest bedroom with tray on top as an end table.

So happy I got this. It serves as a storage, a bench, and a mini levatation device. I bought this to store my linen in and it's so spacious! Currently I have both linen and bath towels in there and there's still room for more. I like that it doesn't feel cheap and feeble. My boyfriend took a look at it and wants to get one too. The top is very sturdy when I tried standing on it like in the video and it's also comfy to sit on.

Wife and I just bought a 5th wheel, and were looking for some type of ottoman to throw our feet up on, but it had to be small since when you put the slide in for travel, there isn't a ton of room for extra furniture. This seemed to fit the bill perfectly when I found it online, and once we got it, it is absolutely perfect for our application.When we travel, it breaks down flat (about 4-5" thick) where we can put it in a drawer, or on its side in a cupboard. Then once at our destination we can break it out for comfort and it has the added bonus of storage, for throwing a blanket inside so when not in use, it too is out of the way.Overall this is perfect for what we need, so much so, that I just ordered a second one. Build quality seems decent, and it claims being able to hold up to 200lbs, but I'm not trying to test that. It will however, be nice for when our nephews and nieces go camping with us, as its an extra seat for them (still small children) while the adults can sit in the more comfy chairs.

I'm very happy with this purchase. What I most like is the multi functional use of this ottoman. First, it matched my corner kitchen nook perfectly and adds another place to sit!!!It's a nice neutral shade, beige tweedy linen with metal corner protectors and black legs. The interior storage is lined in black cloth and is roomy enough for my place mats, table cloths, dish towels, pot holders and other holiday table decor, just what I needed for my small kitchen. Now all these items are stored in one place with easy access!Seat cushion is comfy to sit on or use as a foot rest in a living area and easily flips over to reveal oak wood grain for use as a coffee table.Dislikes? None at the moment. It arrived on time, packaged well enough, with no damage.I have put it to use, so I'll see how it holds up to endurance over time, but it does seem sturdy!

This appears to be an update, forgot that I'd reviewed before. BUT it is NOT sturdy enough to really be useful.I sat on it once when the top was definitely in the proper position, but I sat down with a little force going back wards instead of straight down and it collapsed. Then it did once again with my 13 year old and one of the sides "broke".I can't recommend this unless you are going to use it more "decoratively" (as in it NEVER bears any weight).Previously said:Fairly easy to out together; sturdy enough. I just love this little stool. It is rock solid and I can use it to put my feet on, sit on, or stand on to change light bulbs. The bottom has a diagonal zipper on it (from the inside) that you zip up when you set it up, then unzip to put it away. There's another solid piece that fits inside the lid for storage, that goes over the fabric bottom to add support when set up. The top is nice and cushy.Note: This does NOT come with the white stitching as shown. It is black with black stitching around the outside top of the lid and down the sides, but there is no decorative white on it.

It is sturdy and work perfect to hold my daughter's toys that are in our living room, however I was not please to recieve one with black stitching instead of the contrast stitching. My couches have contrast stitches and it would have matched perfectly but it seems very dark in comparison to my furniture set. The ottoman itself is great, and comfy to sit on and my daughter can easily get into it to play with her toys. If I'd recieved the correct colors like the picture I'd have given 5 stars but things not matching doesn't sit well with me.

I absolutely love this Ottoman. It is even better than I imagined. I love its multiple functions. I use it as a foot stool, and storage (it can store a lot). I was especially impressed with the third component (the tray) side. It has a wood looking surface, that looks great and makes it look like a coffee table. It is sturdy and useful. Really great value for your money.

Exceeded my expectations for the price and the fact its collapsible. Only 2 drawbacks, the ottoman pictured is not the one I got, it does not have the white accent stitching in a cross pattern (not a huge deal) and when opened the ottoman definitely smells like faux leather (again not a huge deal as I'm not doing this often outside of getting blankets). Would definitely recommend!

12 x 12 looks really small in real life - the ottoman is exactly as described and is of a normal relative quality, I'm just not exceptionally impressed with it, I know that it's not going to last for a lifetime, and it's not priced to last for a lifetime so shouldn't expect it, it suits for what I purchased it for, and I do very much like it.
