Q: Will this shield 700 kHz ?

This product has been designed to shield from 1GHz to 10GHz at 27dbs

Q: Can this be sewn on a machine, like regular fabric?

I wouldn't sew it-it is more like thin paper. I went and tore an edge of it very easily. I have seen other kinds of silvery fabric that looks like it could be sewn. There are also various items of clothing you can buy that are microwave-proof.

Q: How is this product used on a smart meter?

I put mine in the inside of my wall for now because i love in an apartment. But before i did that, i put it over my microwave while i was using it and cooking in the, and it my microwave started making crazy gurgling sounds. I took the sheet away, and it still made the noise until the next day. So, i think that's enough proof for me that it affects the radiation.
