Don McLean

This is an excellent issue of this album on CD. I have always loved this album, it may not have the standout songs in American Pie, but it is still excellent, there are no fillers or songs that are not up to standard. So far as I have seen it is not on Amazon or Apple Music streaming, Interesting that it was produced by Ed Freeman who produce American Pie because it seemed from the Classic Albums TV programme that they did not get along. I still give it 5 stars because American Pie deserves 6 !

Enjoyable though I am not sure why I bought this cd

This is a great L.P. for people who are not particularly Don Mclean fans. Some realty thought provoking songs. Forty years on it still involves the listener.

I already have the long playing record from the 1970's and now I can listen to this without any extra effort

Very badly worn. Wont play all of either side

I was pleasantly surprised by this reissue from BGO, the sound is easily the best out there on CD (its very good) and pretty close to my original German pressing on thick 70's vinyl, ..... the songs here are among his best and IMO surpass American Pie as a whole,...glad I bought this CD

His first album, and full of fresh innocence as yet untainted by commercialism.
