I bought these at REI for my son. I like that they are made of environmentally-friendly materials. The price is good too. But, they wound up being a frustrating purchase. I watched an online video to make sure I used them correctly. Despite my efforts, they came unhooked all the time and the laces seemed to shift around as he was wearing them. The system is just not secure. So, I’m going back to Lock Laces. We’ve used them in the past and they worked much better.

When I originally ordered these laces, I wasn't sure what I was getting. What a nice surprise! Once I figured out how to lace them up, I've never taken them off and that was almost 2 years ago. They keep the shoes laced up securely and best of all, you don't have to tie and untie them. You just simply slip your shoes on and off. They also come in several colors, so you should not have trouble finding the right color to go with any shoe. A great find!
