... with the same description and most ended up being like new. This one not so much
I have ordered many similar used packs with the same description and most ended up being like new. This one not so much...wich was disapointing. It was as described, had lots of tape residue, a tear next to the sholder strap and the zippers looked petty well worn. It took some time to repair the strap and get the tape off but for the price I guess I cannot complain to much. It works great and was as described and overall I am happy with the purchase.

Expensive but better than most store brands!
You don't know what to expect when you buy used stuff, but this pack is a quality build with a lot of useful utility that you don't find in most off-brand packs. I'm hard on backpacks when I'm on the trail, and this pack will do just fine for me. It's probably not for everyone, however! Size is just right for a day pack or weekend. Mine came with some damage around the edges, but mostly in good shape. If you want perfection, you'll pay over $200 or more!

Better than described
The pack was listed as "good" condition - I can't find anything wrong or worn out on it. It is in perfect condition! I also received it really fast.

Damages that can be repaired, and back into service!
Looking over other buyers reviews, and I knew what I was getting into. For what kind of damage I was going to see. I will give the seller 5 stars that I was going to receive my assault pack damaged but serviceable. To my surprise. All the buckles, and admin pouches are in excellent shape. Damage to the upper part of the pack. Done by the backboard that is still there. Will have to remove that sometime. The straps around the neck area, and stitching are slight worn away. Pretty much the stitching. Which is repairable. May replace the zipper we're you run your radio antenna through, and your bladder system. At another time will submit photos from when I received the pack, and after I make the repairs.Photos taken on 21AUG20. Repairs made with super strong repair tape, and gorella glue. Fully functional, and may take it to a tailor repair place. On the work I do. Comes handy!

Poor condition do not buy.
This pack is missing straps, buckles and the zippers barely function. If it was half the price it would be worth it. But for what it cost you can get a much better pack from a surplus dealer.

Not what I was expecting
The packs zippers are in okay condition but the shoulder one of the shoulder straps is halfway torn off and the other is a quarter of the way torn off

Know what you’re looking at and where it likely came from...
Aside from the kind of wear and tear that I found and didn’t expect on something considered, “Like New”, there is a pretty important piece missing.Something civilians might not and should know about these day packs is that they come with a stiff nylon insert included to make stuffing this thing with gear possible without having to feel every point and edge of whatever it is you packed jabbing your kidneys while you try to move from point A to point B at an acceptable pace. The legendary and notorious staff at CIF are scandalously incompetent and seem to get paid to make your life difficult and even they don’t remove it and make you acquire the plastic insert separately from the pack. Maybe that’s a little too smart for them but removing it and selling it as an individual item turns this ordinarily functional, convenient, and reliable bag into into a loose, shabby looking cordura sack that hangs from your shoulder as limp and pathetic as a full garbage bag. Selling the car and the engine separately doesn’t make you industrious - we have other words for that but they seem to get reviews rejected so... Then again, I just bought CIF issue gear knowing full well that it was most likely lifted from a careless young Marine. So what does that make me?Whatever the answer to that question is and the moral debate aside, the condition of this pack tells me that whomever the Amazon quality control authority that decided this was “Like New” needs to go back to training and stop causing problems.
