absolutely beautiful. fates is my favorite in the fire emblem series, and this book is so gorgeous, it has all the characters and weapons art, it’s simply fantastic. great quality, no problems with shipping or packaging either. definitely worth the price!

This art book is great, highly recommended for FE fans.

If you haven't noticed, a lot of the Japanese reviewers have taken a good amount of time to voice thier criticisms on this book. Americans, you can hit translate under the reviews and go through them. A lot of them make very decent points.Here are some of my takes from an American market.We don't have access to as many concept/art books for video game releases as the Japanese do. So if we happen to get anything, it seems like a big deal. I guess they dont sell as well over here so companies don't bother with us as a a market, besides including them with pre orders on special releases. Or the translation is a big hassle for them.. maybe? I just want to see the companies artwork, so it doesnt matter to me the language its in.That being said, for the price point its in ($30) the book is rather large. The other have you're paying for as an American is mostly import fee. There are a lot of pages. More so than what I'm used seeing in a lot of these books, but the cover is soft.. so I wonder how much they paid to print these.The biggest issue that people seem to have is that the art director didnt have time to include all the characters for full body illustrations despite this being released 4 years after the game. What illustrations are included are amazing. So I don't feel let down buying this book, despite paying almost $80 to have it imported. However, this game was one of my favorites so I was willing to out forth that price and and I doubt the artist will be returning to release another artbook for this.
