Pretty good for the price
Used it and it worked great. Time will tell how long it’ll last but it looks pretty sturdy.

worked with modifications
The tool that spins the gear to release the vanos isn't properly made. I thought i was all set to got, had my cams locked and the pin is too fat to actually catch on the gear, luckily I was able to grind it down and make it fit, but not convenient when you're in the middle of a job to figure that part out.

Fits just like the oem tool
Worked perfect.

it worked
had to file the part to fit the cam easier, was a really really tight fit and the lock rod needed a taper ground at the end to clear a boss in the block but what the hell you want for the price?!?!?!?

Cam gear tool needed modifying
Product looks to be of good quality but on the cam tool, I found the distance between the pin and the ring that fits inside of the gear was too tight. (It measured as 4.5 mm and it needed to be over 5 mm.) I was able to use a dremel to take a little off of the pin to get it to work.I wasn’t able to use the flywheel lock pin due to crud and corrosion on my motor. That’s the bad.The good. The cam locks worked great.Packed in a nice blow mold case and foam padding. To make removing the flywheel lock pin easier, I ran a cable tie thru the hole in it. Worked great while trying to withdraw it from the block.

Does not fit without modifications
Crankshaft lock pin is to large, had to chuck in a drill and use sand paper to shave it down to fit. The camshaft tool is also not sized properly, had to use a dremel to shave down the pin on the tool to lock in to the sprocket. How hard is to size the tool properly?
