Not Perfect
I've used Brother laser printers for many years and stuck to using genuine Brother toner cartridges as experience with a couple other printers with non-OEM consumables was not cost effective (both were written off as replacing damaged parts was more expensive than total replacement). However, my latest black cartridge (in a colour printer) decided to leak toner during a print run - leak such that the belt and all four drums were clarted in it (and prints were unusable). That cartridge went into a sealed bag and, thence, to the bin. Next job was to clean as much spilt toner off the study carpet and change my clothes. I seriously considered replacing the printer as a new belt and drum unit would cost just as much, but I set up a clean area and stripped it down, vacuuming (old cleaner), using a soft paint brush and soft cloth to try and clean the drums, belt and everywhere I could reach. Not pretty but I bought the cheapest black toner cartridge I could find and ran some test prints - as good as new.The printer is far from pristine but the prints are clean and as good as ever, so for now, it's going to be cheap non-OEM toner - nothing to risk. Perhaps I'll go back to OEM when I eventually replace the printer but maybe not.

Print quality and compatibility are good - Capacity not so much
I've had my printer for a few years and it's only done 3600 pages in total yet my high yield cartridge is showing as low already. The ones that came with the printer managed 1800 pages before running out and these high yield ones should have taken me to around 6000 as most of my printing is just text. It's showing toner low already at a total machine use of 3600 so they don't get anywhere near 4000 pages from a cartridge. The print quality is excellent but at £50 a pop I'd expect the yield to be accurate.

Great quality branded toner
This original Brother black toner cartridge is great quality, helping to provide really good, crisp, evenly printed documents. The high yield version is great value compared to the standard size, and buying from Amazon gives a saving of over a third compared with many well-known stationers/electronics store chains. The 4,000 page life span quoted is based on quite low levels of page coverage (5%), so in practice I tend to find that these generate rather fewer than 4,000 pages of printout, but I'm not dissatisfied with the output achieved.

Great - a tad expensive
We all want to use quality toners, but does that have to mean the stupid prices that are charged by the printer manufacturers?!The Black cartridge is not overly priced, and it is the one I tend to use most of. The colour cartridges are stupid money. It is almost cheaper to buy a new printer each time, even with the low capacity toners that they contain. As a printer for a small business, and running an Apple Mac, I am finally pleased that the Brother seems fully compatible with it!

Purchased the wrong part by mistake
I purchased the wrong toner cartridge by mistake. Amazon swapped the toner cartridge for the correct one I need for my printer, as usual perfect customer service, without any argument.I recommend double checking you have requested the correct parts before clicking the buy button, Brother use very similar product numbering for similar looking toner cartridges.

I do not think it is original
The toner arrived in a black plastic bag, as it is not in its original box as shown made me wonder if the Toner is an original brother toner as claimed by Silicon Alley or just a refurbished one, I personally believe it is a refurbished toner and not an original brother toner.

Great Value
Quite simply does what you would expect and lasts quite a long time. Got this for our business printer and they consistently last at least many months with hundreds of pages printed a month.Never had a problem and always official Brother cartridges supplied when bought from Amazon, and great price as always.

WARNING! ITEM IS NOT AS DESCRIBED!
If ordering from this company BEWARE!!The toner received was not TN320BK but TNBK which is a starter toner usually included with a new printer and containing a nominal amount of ink to enable the new printer to be set up.I was unaware of this until the toner leaked in my printer spewing toner everywhere and leaving me with no choice but to call an engineer out to clean the printer just to get it working again. This incurred a call-out charge which Silicon Alley refused to refund. My advice: DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!
