Works great. Just don't apply too much pressure or you'll scape off a layer of your arrow along with the fletching. I also use it to remove arrow wraps.

Strip glue in about 1 minute.Strip wraps in maybe 3 minutes works just fine, i use small diameter arrows and had 0 issues & no gouging

I was only able to strip a couple of fletchings without destroying them. If you're looking for stripping the shafts for use.

This is the bees knees! Sure you can get away with a razor blade but this is so fast and so easy, it was well worth the small investment to me. I don't even bother with realigning vanes on the Bitz jig when replacing one, just strip all the vanes and start fresh. Use the Bob Smith accelerator and you've got a fresh arrow in 5 minutes.

I've used several different tools and methods over the years and this does the best job of removing the old fletching and glue without damaging my carbon arrows. Very well made and the blade is reversable so you have anther to use when the one end gets dull. The blade design is very easy to sharpen with a round file or ceramic sharpener.

It did a good job stripping the first dozen arrows but the blade quickly became dull. Now it's pretty much useless.
