11" Rat and Chinchilla Exercise Wheel

Our rats have loved this. From the time they are young until they are old, they love running in it. Still not sure if they ever wonder why they never go anywhere. We had a couple of rats who would run for a while and then get out to look at the wall behind the cage as if they were hoping it was now closer.

This wheel is extremely dangerous! A murder trap!! Wil kill your beloved pets! Please do not buy this wheel. Please consider buying one that only has one arm and maybe no wire slots or spaces. I have had pet rats for YEARS now and NEVER had any issues. I thought I would yeth a "bigger better wheel" for my loved and spoiled babies. I cleaned their house and happily put their new Prevue rodent wheel in their enclosure. They immediately loved it. I check on them at least 3 times a day if not more. When I woke up the next morning for work my sweet Pinkie girl (adult female rat who just had a few babies about a week earlier) had her head stuck between the bars where the arm is and she was DEAD! You could tell she yelled frantically to get out as her neck was wedged and she had rubbed some of her hair off around her neck. I was so so sad to find her this way. Anyway- I thought it was just a freak accident since I'd never had issues or problems for several years before. Until I found one of her 3 week old babies wedged and stuck in the wheel and dead the same way just a couple weeks later! I immediately took the wheel out and will never use another one like it again. I was so so devastated at what this product did to my sweet babies.

Not really meant for ferrets. None of my ferrets can fit comfortably in the wheel. The issue is you have the arms on both sides. If the wheel only had one arm then it would probably be OK. In any case if you're looking for a wheel for ferrets, keep looking. This is too small/narrow.The design has the arms going into the wheel and either pokes the ferret or just scares them because it's too narrow.

Received it yesterday in the mail. All packing was secure, and box was in great shape. The product is ok, just a little warped but I believe that happened when it was made. Easy to put together, and big enough for my lil girl. I'm not sure how it will do as she grows but for now it works :)

I woke up this morning to my precious rat dead from getting her head stuck in between the bars. Don't buy this.

We just purchased this wheel for our four degus, who were always bored and always jumping and running to find space or something to do, even with a 4' terrarium. Now they take turns (or play together) on the wheel night and day! We thought the low price might make for a problem, but all four have run on the wheel at once (often in different directions--which doesn't last long...). Would recommend for any rodent/cavie owner!

Wheel kept falling off before I put it in cage. So I pulled sides of wheel and bent them out a little. Hasn't fallen off and works great. Also the critter can't chew this one up.

Great wheel, but my rats don't get it.... nothing wrong with the wheel! My rats just don't get what it's for.
