Econoaid 1010 Throttle Body Booster

I bought this one and installed it on my 99’ 1500 4x4 - with a 318, just because it was cheap and made sense to me... I can't tell whether it made a difference, because when I added it on, I did it at the same time as installing a Magnaflow muffler, a 360's throttle body, and an aftermarket air intake... So, I noticed an overall boost in speed, but I can't specifically attribute any gains towards the spacer. I chose this spacer because it was thin, wouldn't cause any space issues with my air intake (boosting the height), but also because it had the tooth design that spun the air... The research I had done said that the throttle body spacer concept only works if it can actually make the air move more quickly, thus the tooth design on this spacer. So I went with it... After 3 years it's still in there today and you can hear this pretty cool wind stream noise in the higher end because of it. Bout all I can tell ya.

Advertised as a throttle body spacer and photographed in a deceptive way- it's actually a throttle body booster no thicker than a credit card that claims to spin the air as it enters the engine. Claims of improving fuel efficiency, power and throttle response are completely unfounded even from the manufacturer (AIRAID). Installation on a Magnum 5.9L engine provided no improvements in power or throttle response. The only way this could fool you into thinking it would improve your performance is because you have to unbolt the throttle body and hopefully you clean it of any carbon buildup while you're at it which might give a little better throttle response. Better to stick with tried-and-true forced induction unicorn farts to boost horsepower- I would gladly spend my money there than on this thing.

It's works ok. It makes the intake whistle. I did notice a 1 mpg increase and a LITTLE power increase.

I installed it the day I received it,(96 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L V8 with an aftermarket intake). It's been about 2 weeks now, and I can definitely feel the difference in throttle response. It's very quick and crisp. I have floored it a few times, and it throws me back into the seat, I love that! It was easy to install, instructions are on point, this is an Awesome product. I'm definitely going to order one for my other car,(2000 Grand Am 2.4L with an aftermarket intake).

I have a Dakota R/T. I notice nothing in way of power or performance. It does make a bit of a whistle sound on acceleration but nothing drastic. Save your money IMHO.

Easy install it's just sheet of metal no heavy shipping weight comes with seals and nice stickers but not sure about difference in torque and mpg I don't notice difference

Once I run out of gas I'll be able to tell you if I had a difference in fuel consumption. I do feel an increase in power.

Works great I can tell the difference in my throttle response and in my gas mileage. Great product no regrets
