AIM SPORTS 3-9X40 P4 Sniper Scope with Flip-Up Lens and Rings

I ordered this for my brother and as he opened it, part of it was broken. We contacted the seller and we immediately got a replacement at no charge. My brother has not complained and said the price is right! Good quality as well.

(Note I returned it without ever installing it in the rings or shooting with it.) I changed my mind after ordering this so I returned it without ever installing it or testing it. But here's my opinion from just looking at it and through it at the 3x zoom level. 1) Pretty clear glass and good light transmission. 2) Zoom ring works smoothly (didn't get to sight distance objects at higher zoom levels) 3) Windage and elevation dials are somewhat stiff (requires dime or penny coin to turn them) and clicks feel a little gritty 4) External appearance and finish are nice. 5) Eye relief is good at 3x or 4x zoom (didn't test at higher magnification) 6) Included scope rings look decent but I didn't install them on a rail or fit the scope to them 7) Flip up covers are nice but a little stiff to flip open I cannot comment on how it looks at maximum zoom, how easy it is to zero, or how well it holds zero.

I am extremely happy with mine, they are quality and they don't cost much at all. I have recommended these to everyone I know that shoots, they have tried mine and before I told them what I paid for it, they said they wanted to save up for one. I hope this helps!

The reticle failed in less than 25 rounds of federal bulk 36 grain long rifle... Shot it twice, once to zero, put it in the safe, brought it out 3 months later for some fun,,, Fired 6 rounds and it failed.. rounds went extreme left, no adjustment to bring them back to zero....

This scope is pretty sturdy and seems well built but it does not hold its zero well and that's on my little .22 marlin model 60. maybe i got a defect but it's the most aggravating thing. also it does not come with the flip up caps as advertised and the crosshairs become out of focus when at 9X magnification. for the money, it's decent at best up to 50 yards out. I just recently bought a 3X9 40mm BSA sweet .22, it blows this guy out of the water for 10 bucks more on amazon

The scope came in a box with little packing. Which worried me a first. However I have installed it on my 243 caliber single shot. It seems to be a nice scope. It is clear view and the variable is easy to turn. The flip up covers are able to slide off the scope. The scope rings that I received are raised ones. So that you can use open sights also. I will be shooting the gun in this week and will let you know how it holds patterns.

Bought this on an Amazon recommendation, and the guy was spot on. Good little scope; couldn't ask for any better when paired with my Gamo air rifle.

Sniper Scope Hmmm well I don't think I would go that far calling this a sniper scope It can't see that far. However it is a nice scope for an air rifle or BB gun. It does see about 30-35m. fairly well. The scope covers are kinda delicate, the hinge is partially acryllic type plastic and breaks easily. I plan on getting scope caps that are tethered. I'm using it on my Drozd Sub-Machine BBgun. Works great for this gun.

Wow. Great scope. Lens caps can be thrown away... they are cheaply made. This item also comes with the rings for mounting to your rifle (no need to buy them separate). Does not fit on 22.

Save your money. This is crap

Not a great quality... adjustment caps were cross threaded upon arrival, you will need to buy mounting rings for 11mm, only Weaver/Picatinny rings included. Not sharp, clarity of optics is poor and the cross hairs are to thick . Not great, but okay for the price.

Very Happy with scope. Vision is clear and sharp.Will probably buy another one.
