Great protection from the elements. My neck has been increasingly sensitive over the years to sun screens. I basically can't use anything on my neck anymore without getting chemical burns and that also means that I can't put anything on my face because it may run on to my neck if I sweat. Consequently I am always on the lookout for better-than-bandana alternatives to protect me from sunburns. This fits the bill nicely.It's bigger than a scarf and so you can wear it lots of different ways, from wrapping it around your entire head and neck to draping it. It's long enough to tie or tuck easily and wide enough to provide a ton of placement options. It's relatively lightweight so you don't overheat, but you could use it for a bit of added warmth by doubling up on the wrap. Overall, a terrific product, good feel, useful and attractive.

I bought this for a costume at first but once it arrived I quickly fell in love with it. I bike around to get where I need to go and the sun is brutal! I typically wear a sunscreen but my face is always greasy because of it. I decided to try this out on a bike route expecting it to be hot and uncomfortable. I could not be more surprised. My face and neck were actually cooler and with sunglasses my face and neck were almost completely protected. Highly recommended for those that spend a lot of time outside and want to protect their skin! Just be careful because you can look pretty intimidating while wearing it so don't do anything stupid that might get people to think you're out to get them or something.
