I am a new nurse practitioner working in the hospital in Neurology. This is a great book for fast facts that are condensed into important information and categorized.

Great book for reference

This is an incredibly brief overview with the absolute basics. You get a one liner describing the disease process along with risk factors and maybe 1-2 ways to treat, much the same vein as Step Up to Medicine.If you're a student on an ICU rotation, this might be for you. For those actively practicing or looking to jump into the unit, this unfortunately doesn't help.
